It took me awhile to really understand what this picture was about. You may only have two reviews, but I'm glad to help you have a perfect five star rating for every review. I can see why this is so good even it is doesn't have many views. You really portray what a lot of us went through when the redesign came about. I myself am still getting used to it. Well, no, I've mostly gotten used to it.

It is rather sad to see all these graves and monuments to our old stuff. I'm glad we at least have this picture around for the memories. I think there might even be a zombie or two in this picture. I don't know what "Zed Was Here" means. The illumination is freaking perfect with the silhouttes. We'll always have the memories, my friends.

This is an old review, but it was a good one!

Orange happens to be my favorite color! It's funny, because you would think that would make this my favorite of the series, but I think my favorite is still the green knight. You of course did great with this. The background looks like it was made on a potato chip or something! That's no criticism, that's a compliment. I like how he has those bombs on his chest.

I assume that fire is his power in the games. Dang, I really need to check out those official games sometime. It really shows you how much these characters have gone through after all this time. The shadings and shadows are perfectly done too. Everything has great detail put into it.

dommi-fresh responds:

thanks man and yes fire is oranges power

I honestly don't think I've ever seen so many Newgrounds characters in one place! I mean it! I can simply go on all day about how there are so many characters seen in this! It's great to see nearly every single popular character here being represented the way they should be! There's only a couple I don't recognize like that bloody white furry thing on the ground that looks like a Moogle. As a frequent reviewer, you get to see a lot of underrated characters.

Some of you guys might miss some. There's the guy from the "Fancy Pants Adventures" series going off in some random direction. I think the best looking character here might be Dad. Of course, that might only be because he's more onscreen than any other character. You've got Tankmen, the Castle Crashers, Larry, Dad 'N Me, the alien from "Alien Hominid", Bitey, the green guy and other business guy from "Facebook Twitter" and everyone else! A true masterpiece!

yellowbouncyball responds:

Thanks! The white furry dude on the floor is from the Castle Crashers game.

Probably the only reason I'm giving this such a high rating is because you managed to get everything done so perfectly! Come to think of it, that's a pretty good reason for giving something a high rating. What matters the most is that you perfectly captured so many classic characters! Every character looks just like what the perfect example of a clay robot would look like. I would LOVE to see a flash cartoon with these guys. That reminds me, it's been forever since Knox submitted something.

I think my favorite would have to be the F-Bot. That's probably because it's the largest and probably took the longest to make. I didn't know we had a Pikachu-esque robot. I like how they're surrounded by household objects, like change. It's a great sense of authenticness. You're a true tribute to clay creators all around!

PikaRobo responds:

Thanks for the review, The Pikabot is mine though. And just so you know, F-Bot is not the largest; A-Bot is the tallest and G-Bot is the heaviest of the 6 main bots. COL-LAB out-towers over everyone though.

This was one heck of a strange picture, because it seemed like three things in one! The dinosaur seemed like he had three body parts, one of bone, one of flesh, and one of banana. I really like this because you truly have no idea what's going to appear in the next part of the drawing. True, it does have "banana" in its name, but it's still unexpected. It's extremely non sequitor and I love it. I just saw "Prometheus" so I guess I'm the mood for surreal stuff.

It's so awesome you managed to do this in watercolor. I think I have in fact made pictures like that, it's just been forever since I've done it. I don't even know if I have my old watercolor kit. Everything about this creature is just wonderfully done. Everything looks so realistic, it looks like an actual object in real life or a statue. I love how the flesh is slowly coming onto the dinosaur.

bloominglove responds:

Thank you so much for the positive comment! :D I would love to see your artwork if you ever post them!

I was going through this picture and wondering why people liked it. It just seemed like a mess. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that as I looked down, it created something that was truly magnificent. I'm going to assume that says "Alientronics" in the pixellated letters. That's probably my only problem. It could have been of better resolution. That still doesn't change the fact that it's an awesome art piece.

I appreciate you wanting to pay a tribute to one of our most beloved mascots. We have so many of them you can simply never stop coming up with new elaborate ways to portray them. It's probably better viewed from a distance. The alien never got old enough to be in a pixellated game. Only three hours?

enzob7 responds:

Thank you! Yeah, it was quick to draw. :)

This is a really good art picture. I don't know exactly why, but it seems like something that would be on the show "Adventure Time". Granted, I haven't seen any episodes of that except for the pilot episode. Anyway, what is so nice is how there's a lot of detail put into all of his body parts. This horns seem like they're staring into some deep chasm. It looks like it's forming some deep vortex of which there is no escape.

There could have been a background. Then again, it does contrast well with how colorful the character is. It looks like his eyes are practically melting off his face. A lot of old people tend to look that way. His legs/feet look like they're too weak to even support his body.

GlassBomb responds:

wow, chasmous?
(I just made up that word)
I like how much you're into this art. your review is poetic.
i give this review 9/10
-1 because I wanted more musings

This is another nice picture you have worked on. I think it looks so nice here because of the way you show Cammy's curves. You really get a realistic look on what a fighting woman looks like. Again, it would be nice if you put some color in this. Sketches are of course still fine as this is a good one. It's amazing how much you've gone into another style for this. All the body parts look very strong.

By "strong" I mean in both senses of the word. While it isn't much, that is a pretty good logo in the background. It seems like her spine is bending a bit too much, but that could just be the angle she's shown. I wonder how long it took to braid her hair like that? I didn't know you were a "Street Fighter" fan.

Krinkels responds:

Spine bent to show off flaring lateral muscles. You can NEVER have enough flaring lateral muscles.

I think this is a pretty good picture but it's still weird to see you make this sort of thing. I honestly can't even believe you did make this! It looks so much like another artist. But I'm not being disrespectful, I think this is a pretty nicely done drawing. Are these characters ever going to show up in one of your cartoons? You truly are experimenting with different styles. I like how you can see part of her cleavage, lol.

I never knew you could be so good at drawing women. Just, um, make them more beautiful, huh? I'm being crazy, but anyway, I do kind of wish there were some color versions of this stuff. I like the little doll she has in her hair. I guess I don't play the SF games enough to recognize her.

Krinkels responds:

Yeah it IS kind of weird. I've been really forcing myself into different artistic endeavors. Once I make a big ol' pile of these sketches (yes, more are on the way), I intend to start coloring them. But of course, I only get at this when I have time away from Madness related goings-ons.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
