I found this to be a good game. It was one of those games that didn't need much detail. I was impressed at how it was not easy. I should have known you couldn't just win by pressing the up button, even on the first level. It really was pretty well thought out. I liked the music as well.

I appreciate how you can work well with such a simple game. I probably have played games like this before, though. It isn't much, but it still works. Hard to say how it could be improved. It just is what it is.

Well, I simply can't give this a rating lower than 4.5 stars. I was amazed at how good the graphics were. I even managed to be fairly good at it. You really have created a fairly unique world to explore. Everything just flows together so well. The controls could be better, but still great.

The music was also quite omnious. I hope I spelled that right. I liked how all the things you hit seemed to have different ways of reacting. I think I may have killed my first enemy my accident. How do you even kill a ghost?

I admit that I was quite confused by this game. I really didn't know how to beat it. I was unaware you even COULD. I guess I'll give you props for making something different. Couldn't I just stay in the same spot the whole time? I wasn't sure when I had the right control.

I do appreciate the artwork. It looked like there was a portrait of Strong Sad In there. Dang, I wish that website would come back. The atmosphere is set up fairly well. I know that game isn't too detailed being made in such a short time.

Well, I guess this worked quite well as an experimental game. I really should be expecting these game jams more. What turned me off was how it was fairly short. Then again, it was also pretty hard. I really did have fun with it. I'm not quite sure what the true meaning is. Even the theme stated doesn't make much sense.

I thought he looked like a moose when he turned red. The other red guys looked more like demons. He definitely became something like him. I like going back, as it's so easy. I thought there would be more than one day. That is of course, the title of the game.

rottenmage responds:

Yeah, one of our programmer mentioned that it looked like a druid. We wanted the game to be a mundane day of the main character. We wanted to name the Day "Random Number" e.g. Day 235 but decided to settle with "Day X" in the end.

I found this to be quite a quaint game. It is pretty hard to say anything that good about it, because it isn't detailed that well. It still works quite well for what it truly is. I like the music. I could understand how to play the game at first. With all these game reviews, I rarely first look at the instructions first.

I think I have a good chance of being number one. It's always nice to look in space. You could probably put in more details here and there. Hard to say much else about a game so simple. It helps that I'm good at it.

I like how the game works well for being so mundane. Of course, that could also be a fault, because I don't really get that engaged in it. I was surprised at how I couldn't get far at all even with how I used everything. I must have to go upward or something. As always, thank you for the walkthrough.

The most annoying thing is the ticker. I guess it's there to motivate you to beat the game. It's amazing how much seven years can do in graphics. Everything always looks dated. It's fairly playable.

I just don't think this game is for me. The worst part is how you don't have much mobility. The way you throw the bombs is way off. I don't know why you're killed by some bombs and not others. Then again, maybe the D is for different kinds of bombs. After defeating an enemy, they still have a ghost or something that they left behind.

It's just too confusing. I guess it deserves points for creativity. I really have no idea what's truly going on. It's just not engaging enough to complete. It's quite unique at least. I just don't find it rewarding.

Floriaen responds:

You can't keep a bomb forever, there is a timer on the top left of the screen.
The bomb explodes with you while the end of the timer is reached.

I tried with S + arrow down instead of D but it was hard to play so I keep the D.

Thank you for your review.

[UPDATE] the timer is now showed on the top of the bomb carried by the RedMan

I guess the premise worked out well enough for itself. For some reason, I couldn't play this at all without it lagging. It must be something with my computer system. I guess the graphics aren't too bad. I don't think there was any sound. I actually played this better on a slower computer.

Though really, a lot of games are like that, especially "Ultimate Flash Sonic". I do like some soccer in real life. Here, it just seems weird when I can't see myself. I can kind of see why this isn't that popular. It's okay, I suppose.

Hey, I finally got to see KWAS71KCK here! Anyway, I did not care much for this. One major letdown was how there was no sound. Music is always a plus. I think you didn't even understand the concept of the original game. You don't put together blocks of the same color, just ones in the same row.

I guess it was fairly creative. I managed to get a fairly good score just by doing nothing. It was certainly unlike most Tetris games. The colors didn't seem to sync up well. It was too confusing to really enjoy.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
