I have played many a Clock game, but this one didn't make much sense to me. I think it might have even worked better if it was just a flash cartoon. I used to play the piano all the time. I guess this makes me kind of sad because I have no clue how to get in on it. I thought it was funny how you had "Abba" in the name. That reminds me, I like "Dancing Queen".

It makes you realize that this song has the same lyrics as "Baa Baa Black Sheep" and "ABC". It's as incomprehensible as Clock Day itself. How can I recommend this for the Clock Day 2012 submissions? They don't seem to have that feature anymore. At least the music's nice.

JeffersonTD responds:

You were getting there. ;)

I actually thought this was a good game, even I didn't really understand it. It was kind of weird to see a superhero who just jumped instead of flew. Then again, the original version of Superman did that. Did you know that, BTW? Anyway, it was rather cool to see how nutty this guy looked as he just jumped everywhere. I could have sworn that you could double jump, but it was just looked like he could.

The hardest one is the level where there are those pink things and a platform. You don't know which one to use first or if you can even make either one at the right time. I had no idea so many people took part in this! It's not that part of a game, so it's neat how everyone had a different role. It's nice for a quick play.

I haven't played the other StuMan games, but I actually found this to be fine. What I didn't understand was that I thought it was just going to be a game where you only had one level. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it wasn't. Then again, the second level is murder for me. I go to the top, but it doesn't let me advance. I'm guessing you have to go on the blocks in some particular reason.

It's also weird how you named your game. The title made me think it was going to be a parody of Gary Stu/Marty Stu fics. Anyway, I have to give you points for having some really cool colors. It is a unique experience at least. I wish I could understand it more.

I really enjoyed this game! I think the thing I liked the most about it was probably how simple it was to beat, hee hee. I thought that maybe you had to specifically kill all the enemies, but you could in fact just leave them alone. It's still satisfying to get to finish them off, though. The graphics, you guys know what I think of your graphics. I even liked the way you showed your logo in the beginning.

It's great to have all this really cool music, too. I like how you don't have a lot of idea of when you're going to be done with a certain area. Yes, it tells you the percentage, but you always seem to find new terroritory. I like how the main character is this cute little guy. It's just an enjoyable game.

While I didn't enjoy this that much, it's still nice to play a Clock Day submission. I just wish there could have been more to this. I hope I'm not giving away the secret medal, so I guess I just won't tell how I got my one medal. This seems to have most of what you could want in a Clock Day submission. It's not just "B" that gets the treatment here. It's all the letters of the alphabet.

The colors are actually pretty nicely done. I think the music was also very nice and quite calming. It's too bad there weren't that many Clock Day submissions this year. At least people like you will always be around. You have serviced your Clocks well.

FlyingColours responds:

Thanks for the review! It's always greatly appreciated.

Well, I can't say I didn't like this, because I did. It reminds me a lot of those books I used to have where you had to find stuff, the "I Spy" books. Now that I think about it, that was basically the premise of the "Where's Waldo?" books too. I appreciate how you were able to use such a good childhood memory like this. My only complaint is that I just think it's too big and hard. Don't think of something dirty when I say that.

It was nice to see all these cool designs. You certainly get your money's worth with the single medal. I thought the music was also pretty nice and suited it very well. It does get you motivated after awhile. It might have worked better as an art submission.

I can't really say anything good or bad about this game, because I don't understand it at all. I assumed it was supposed to be a game where I had to unlock a puzzle of some kind, but it just didn't work out for me. The graphics weren't even that creative. I tried going to the "Help" portion, but that didn't even tell me how to play it! I guess the game was a bit creative.

You deserve credit for something so incomprehensible. I couldn't tell if the levels got harder, because none of them could be beaten! Congradulations on having such a high score. You obviously have friends in high places. The music could have been better too.

I was surprised this didn't have anything to do with Clocks. Then again, August 15th is a day where a lot of stuff is sbumitted. I liked this game, even though it was so incomprehensible. What was the point in having that powerup where you could freeze everything if it didn't even do you any good? Even the tank thing still moved around. I guess it was creative at least.

It seemed like the giant eyeball that was firing at me didn't even hurt me. I guess it was supposed to be more of a distraction? The colors are nice and bright at least. It's so crazy it's hard to keep up. Why doesn't it say how many meters you're going while you play the game?

thePalindrome responds:

In order:

Serendipity.

Notice that nothing shot at you while they were frozen.

The tank cannon moving is an issue I'll fix next update

The eyeball, tanks, and saw monster can't hurt you, neither can their bullets. They are distracting and they destroy the buildings, so they'll destroy what you were about to hit.

I guess I should put in the score while you are playing.

Thanks for the review!

Well, I have to at least give you some credit for having a game that has some pretty easy medals to get. I'm pretty much stuck on the last one there. It doesn't matter, because I can just play with this thing all day until I get it. I think it would have been better if you had some sound. Of course, this a Clock inspired flash. You managed to update this in a pretty short amount of time.

I just wanted to say that clicking on the tank logo doesn't work. That seems to look a lot like a penis there. There could have also been a background. At least the "B" was represented in a pretty cool way. Happy belated Clock Day!

TheMajormel responds:

Thanks for the review. You don't have to click the tank logo really, the only thing you can do with it was use directional keys. Thanks for liking my take on the "B"

I guess I have no choice but to wish you a Happy Clock Day! While this didn't really have anything to do with clocks, it's still a really cool game. I do wish that the graphics could have been better. I was just amazed at how you were able to put so many music pieces in a game that looked so simplistic. It's great to see effort put in anywhere for this. The shading could have been a lot better though.

It did kind of work with how simplistic it was. I just appreciated all the little things that were going on. The level that really drove me mad was of course the first boss. I didn't even get to see what this thing looked like! I doubt he's just a mass of spikes himself.

aletss responds:

Happy Clock day for you too, the graphics are bad because I don't have a drawing pad and I had to do everything with my touchpad (yes, I did it with my laptop) but if this game gets some nice reviews (like this one) and stays with three stars, I WILL buy a drawing pad and start doing some REAL graphics for the prequel im planning (I really hope that the prequel get to see the light some day).
Thanks for noticing my effort, it WAS hard to make this game, I had a lot of trouble with the save feature and mostly the character movement (I still do) but thanks for noticing.
As for the boss level, yhea it is kind of hard but there is a really easy way to finish it, if you need a guide im planning to make a video of it, showing how to finish the game the easiest way.
