That's interesting

This was a really cool game because it showed off a world where you could learn from your mistakes. It's the kind of bizarre world that makes you realize your abilities in teh real world. What was bad was that it was pretty hard to keep up with the controls and everything. It's a pretty incomprehensible game, but that adds to its artsiness. While not the most detailed, the graphics are really cool for what they are. I also like the really cool music that give off a good sense of serenity.

I was thinking it would be a game where he would get stronger as the game went along. I guess in a way that did happen in the way he became smarter. It was also cool how you could see a realistic representation of the twilight. I'm surprised you did not label this a puzzle game. It could also go among the experimental genre.

Even better

Dude, this is just so fantastic in every single way. You are one of the greatest artists I have ever seen, not just on this website, but in the entire world. While I haven't been to that many art galleries, I have been around. You just perfectly capture how beautiful and flawless the human body is. It really makes you proud to be a human and have such unique qualities. These people are sketched as if they are a part of biology, like graceful animals, which humans technically are.

Reniassance painters would be proud of you. You have made sure not to look vulgar or violent in any way, but just show the true beauty that is the human body. Thank you for taking this challenge and doing us all good. It's stuff like this that makes me proud to be such a prolific reviewer. May your visions live on forever.

Amazing

Did you do all these fantastic pictures by yourself? If so, I thoroughly congradulate you and I am glad to have the oppurtunity to look at all these pictures. The only thing I didnt like was how there was not a lot of interactivity with this. What works is that there is so much detail put into these sketches! It's amazing how it's all done in such a realistic manner. It's stuff like this that makes you think of the brilliance of the Renaissance period.

Like those artists, you do not care about showing the naked body. Here, you in no way use it sexually like most people on Newgrounds do. You simply show people the exact way they are. People should appreciate how their bodies look and how beautiful they are. It's great that people like you take such a great interest in reality.

Now that's different

It's nice to see you submitted something for the NG Game Jam, and boy was it elaborate! The hardest thing about this was that it was just so hard to understand. At least it was an originally original idea. Seriously, of all the thousands of games I've played here, I think it's the first one that has ever had the player use morse code! As I am a quick learner, it wasn't that hard to get used to it. I still had some trouble though, particularly when I had to select one of the two guys to attack.

The graphics are fine, but are a bit impressive given the small amount of time you had to make this. The music is also good because it gives off a good triumphant feeling to it. More people should make World War II games! I guess judging by the title, it was supposed to be a parody of Super Mario RPG. Then again, I've never played that game or even watched someone play it.

Grent responds:

Actually, the "super" was really a combination of parody of the fact that (because of Super Mario Bros.) a ton of games unnecessarily use the word and the fact that "Morse Code RPG" sounded a little to plain and, quite frankly, not silly enough for my tastes. Glad you had fun, and thanks for the review!

Fairly nice

This was a pretty good game to play, if only because it had a very simplistic theme to it. Probably the thing about this I liked the least was how there was no health bar. You had to start over from the beginning if you died once. The animation is okay, I can just tell it wasn't made in the longest of times. I don't know what the title means, but I'm being too nitpicky. I am glad to conclude my reviews of this NG Game Jam.

It's done a good job of showing how well we can do given a short amount of time. Give this game some training and you should be able to beat it. The designs of the characters and such were pretty good. You can't believe how cocky you can get with beating Captain Hook at the end. I find it weird how Peter Pan has blue hair.

Cool game!

It seems like all the games here have monsters or aliens in some way. This was a very cool game because it was quite unique. I was afraid it was going to be hard to understand at first with all those directions. What really entertained me was the amazing amount of detail put into everything. The characters appear so small which is a great way to emphasize their finer details. Probably the first game I played where I actually saw the fetus and egg develop!

The music was pretty good and it fit the game's tone well. I'm amazed you are the first person to come up with that word, as it seems obvious to me. It was even fun to control the main alien and just fly around everywhere. There's a lot going on in this game, but you can beat it by taking one level at a game. I still love the BerzerkStudio intro.

Fairly good monsters

The thing I liked about this game was just how cartoonish it looked. It seemed to be exactly what you would imagine from a game that would feature the main character as a neglected youth. It was interesting to have that backstory because he seems more sympathetic. Sure, it's not much, but it's something some of us can associate with, even if it is a bit cliche. I kind of have mixed emotions about the graphics, though. While they're nice to look at, they do seem to be perphaps a bit too child-like.

At least there was a very clear representation of everything you had to do in the game. The biggest annoyance was having enough energy for attacks. It was fun to get money even if you did not succeed at destroying an entire city. For some reason, the opening theme reminded me of "Marvel Zombies". Monsters are always fun.

A fairly decent game

This was pretty interesting to play because it had a pretty cute demeanor to it. I keep thinking it was similar to the "Angry Birds" game. I guess that game is so popular anything with moving birds is going to be compared to it. The best thing was probably how there was a nice amount of detail put into everything. It's just fun to try to figure out how to do everything. This game is more complicated than it looks and while the idea has been done before, it still has a pretty unique design.

As usual, it's great to include the walkthrough as I am stuck at the fourth level. The timer is also great because it seems to give you a lot of time to try to beat the level. It's very child-like in how bubblish the graphics are. While not the most detailed game, it's something decent from gamezhero. Fans of the original should enjoy it.

What a nice quaint game

The coolest thing about this game was that the graphics were just plain gorgeous! I loved interacting with this amazing environment. It's also a game where you can just run around and play with it as long as you like. I find it a bit odd a robot has a human son, but whatever. This was tons of fun because it just had such a great sense of authenticness to it and it wasn't mean spirited or too elaborate or anything like that. The music is also really cool.

Normally, I don't like these games that much because there isn't a lot of action. What it lacked in action, it made up for in how detailed it was. I also like the idea of this robot existing in this otherwise more nature-like world. Don't make the better stuff like that until Robot Day! I appreciated the homey feeling and the good sound effects.
