Uh, this game mostly confused me. I dropped stuff and couldn't touch the top. That was it. This just seemed too nonsensical to be enjoyable. That's not how a game should be. I guess it was at least unique.

It's still hard to like for me. The graphics probably could have been better. I guess the colors were okay. It's just not rewarding. It made little sense.

TharosTheDragon responds:

This was made in just a few days for a game jam, if you weren't aware.

You drop stuff and can't touch the top, yes. But you also can't touch the bottom or any obstacles. You also try to collect bag bubbles. You also try to hit pedestrians for extra points.

This was a good game, but it could have been better. One time I got stuck so I clicked the blue arrow at the top. It put me right back to the very beginning of the game! That was really annoying. I still liked the graphics. Boy, was this game complicated.

I was still able to get through some of it. I like the triumphant music. It's fun how the game plays itself. Granted, it isn't fun when you lose. It's still decent.

DLord2 responds:

I will investigate this issue. Thank you very much!
Update: we discussed the issue and looks like you mentioned spell book arrow. We fixed issue by adding confirmation popup on "save game and exit".

I admit that this game was hard to navigate, but it was still pretty fun. I especially like how it really is something different. It still gets annoying. I loved gradually learning more. I didn't understand the broken walls at first. Seems kind of silly to have them.

It was maybe a bit too simple. There wasn't that much detail. Still, what it lacked in that it made up for in gameplay. It is a game where you want to keep on going. I like the idea of a prelude.

Zanzlanz responds:

Oh hey Ericho!
Thank you for the review! I'm really glad you liked the gameplay, and I definitely agree with the pros and cons you mentioned.
I mean, your review was really nice seeing how old the game is and how quickly I made it. Hope you're doing well!

Hmm, you know that game certainly was difficult but to a certain extent, I actually enjoyed it. I enoyed how I was able to understand more of it as it went along. Of course it is very hard. I'm still glad I got that far. If only there were checkpoints. The music was nice.

I admit that the graphics aren't that good. It still creates a pretty interesting world for itself. There's a lot going on. I just wish I knew the safe spots. I can see why a lot of people wouldn't like this.

xhunterko responds:

Thanks for giving it a try. I'm glad you enjoyed some of it! Thanks for playing!

Hmmm, this wasn't bad, but it had a huge flaw. There was no sound! I tried to see if it was something wrong with my laptop and the sound worked everywhere else. It just seemed really lacking that way. I still thought the game wasn't bad. It was easy to follow.

I kept dying when I went to the ground. Was that really the end of the level? It was too short. The graphics are pretty good. It's just not recommendable.

snoboxstudio responds:

That is really odd Ericho, did you have you internet browser tab muted? We have sound for every aspect of the game :)
Also I think you should go back and read the instructions. There is a way to control your flight.

EDIT: We have heard from our programmer and it doesn't work as well in Internet Explorer browser, possibly that was the problem for the sound?

I thought this was a Christmas game at first. I knew it would be too early. I thought this guy was an elf. Well, I just watched a Christmas cartoon. I appreciated the graphics. Unfortunately, I'm bad at this game.

I was able to get the first medal and even found the spare key. I couldn't use it though. The music was fairly good. It was at least a simple game. Then again, that might not be a good thing.

Rixium responds:

Damn. You have to select the key in your inventory to use it on the door. First time anyone has appreciated my art. Haha!

It looked like Hank was flesh colored. How odd. The aerial shot could have maybe been better. This was still very fun. Happy Madness Day 2017! It's a pity that this wasn't submitted on the actual day.

The music was great. It was sometimes hard to use the weapons. I had trouble running and shooting. It has most of what you'd want from a Madness game. I was expecting this to have an actual hotline in it.

io3creations responds:

If I could've, I would've submitted it on Madness Day. ;)

I changed Hank's skin color for visibility reasons. Otherwise it'd be a bit harder to track him if he's the same color as the background since the characters are quite small.

I didn't know how to split the hearts. I shot them but it didn't work. How many times do you have to do it? I guess you have to hit them right in the middle. That's lame. It's too difficult.

Oh, I'm being too whiny. I really liked the putting together part. That was way easier. It did have interesting gameplay that way. Still nothing I would recommend.

Coaly responds:

Haha, fair review. It's clunky. I wouldn't recommend it either x)

Wow, that was some game. I finally understood it after awhile. I've never heard of a Centipede game being done like this. I had no idea what was even going on. The music was great. I will complain that it's too difficult.

Wait, that's just whiny. The graphics were really good. You rarely see CGI stuff here. The more the merrier, I suppose. I'd go insane getting that medal.

JimGiant responds:

Keep practicing, you'll get it. Eventually I'll get around to adding an easy level and a few more next week.

I admit to not being into point and click adventure games. I believe I recall the original game in this series. The only problem is that it was hard to get through. It's probably more accurate to call it a puzzle game. I can appreciate that.

The graphics are quite good. The designs are nice. The music is very appropriate. This deserves to be frontpaged. It just isn't for me much.

Muja responds:

Thank you for your honesty, it's true that this could be considered a puzzle game in almost all aspects, but the point & click components are all there, too. Maye you could consider this a hybrid.

And it's okay if it's not your thing, thank you for your review ;)
