Click on "Who's This Pumpkin Head Anyway?" after the game starts and you get to it. Click "Who Was The Hostage?". Obviously, click "Are There Any Suspects?". Go to the mayor's office. Click on the office to go inside it. Go up to the secretary and click "That's all thank you".

Click the door to go outside. Go to the desk to get the letter. Give the letter to the secretary. Go to the police station. Click "Consult Notes And Ask About Evidence".

Muja responds:

Thank you for the walkthrough, but it's incomplete..! ;)

Why is this the lowest rated submission for Ludum Dare 46? I liked it! It's not the best, but it's decent. I'm glad to have reviewed it. I know the design wasn't that creative. It probably didn't take that long to make.

Once again, I don't know what this has to do with "start with nothing". Everything starts from nothing! The music was good too. Maybe it could have used sound effects. It's still fun for what it is.

Etchlight-Studios responds:

Thanks for that LOL , "the start with nothing" I went with was starting a level with nothing dangerous like obstacles or enemies and then build on it as you go on
About the ludam dare thing my game doesn't have pretty screenshots so....that's on me But thank you for the review

That was pretty interesting. I just really don't know how to play it. I mean, it's just a chick walking around. I was able to get the first feather. I guess it's nice for an experimental game. I thought it was taking place through a womb.

I mean, that would be starting, right? That's a lot of thunder. It doesn't even stop when I pause it! Congrats for being the thumbnail. The graphics are pretty good.

aeveis responds:

It's explained but not directly. You want to walk where the walls are least closed. It ended up being more of a soft puzzle than I wanted. The thunder noise also decreases the closer you get to the goal. Thanks for trying it out!

I had a lot of fun with this game. It's mostly because of how well it works as a puzzle game. Why isn't it listed as one? It's not that much of a platformer. It sure requires a lot of thinking ahead. I'm always impressed at how simple these games look.

They'e really anything but! I like the new stuff they add in each level. It's just a great layout. I've managed to get as far as Level 12. Yeah, the first one was the only one I never died on!

MrNannings responds:

Thanks. Yeah I will change it to Puzzle indeed.

I'm sorry, but this didn't appeal to me. I mean, the drawings are quite nice. The main problem is that it's just so little going on. This would be fine for something else, but not for Madness Combat. The cartoons are all about destruction! I guess I'll give it credit for being unique.

It's done with great drawings. That's always a plus. It just wasn't enough for a game. Well, Happy Madness Day 2019! I know how late that is.

Cymbourine responds:

appreciate the honesty, thanks!

Yeah, I'm really not into point and click adventure games. It was hard for me to understand even how to move. Well, I got some bits in. I got the wallet, but that was it. I wish there was sound. Well, I do have bad ear buds. I liked the title I guess.

It just seems too simplistic. You think it would be easy with that. I'd need to see a walkthrough. Well, it still got frontpaged. Some people must like it.

KnoseDoge responds:

hey, sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy it! the game is very simple when it comes to the sfx and graphics department, as i am not very good at those things, i'm more of a programmer. it is still fair criticism, of course!

as for the walking, the tutorial might've needed some expansion to make it clearer that it actually is a tutorial. as it is now, if you you just click the screen you might miss bits of the tutorial.

thanks anyway for the feedback!

Happy Clock Day! I always know when these dates are coming up. I think this might be the first time I actually unleashed something in Newgrounds Player! It seems kind of slow. Well, slow as in when the medals came up. I got all secret medals except one.

It's always sad to see fewer and fewer submissions on Clock Day. Stupid YT! It may have been too simple. Well, I understand that's how this crew started out. To think we've come so far with Dress Up.

Little-Radiodemon responds:

It is sad to say, I could, and so could many, easily just fill the portal with stuff, but I'm not sure how appriciated that would be!

Wow, that was a lot better than I thought. The rating still isn't that high. I really was blown away by the graphics in this. They were quite impressive! I admit the controls aren't that good. This was still pretty fun.

I'm generally not into RPGs. That's why I barely even played it. I just need to know how great a game is by this design. Glad it at least got front page. It's good.

AlexGoldring responds:

Hey Ericho,

Thanks for the review! If you have time - I'd love to hear more about the controls, how I could make them better, please drop me a message.

cheers,
-Alex

This was a very nice little game. I would tell you the answers to the questions, but they don't want me to do that. Besides, it should be easy. I mean, the questions are the same every time. You can just write down the answers. I admit this was a little bland.

It wasn't that well detailed. Still, it was good. You don't need to be that elaborate. I only got a 7 on my first time! I have tens of thousands of reviews here!

Little-Radiodemon responds:

Thank, the questions weren't designed to be too hard, I did think about giving an answer to them at the end. Making random questions would be possible, but I really need help to think of questions to write! Coming up with quiz questions has never been a strong suit of mine :P

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't get into this. The artwork seemed pretty shoddy. Was there sound on this? It just seemed too basic. It's too bland. I wasn't motivated to get any medals.

I guess the game itself is harmless enough. There's so much better stuff out there. Well, you still got front page. I can't fault you for that. Well, you had a lot of people working on it!

Yomuchan responds:

The artwork was done in the style of classic newgrounds flash games, I wanted to make something that felt like it was straight outta 2005. And yeah, this is my first time making a business sim. It's been a good learning experience and I'm sure I can do better next time. Thanks for your review!
