I honestly don't know if I have ever worked so hard to get medals before. It was just the same thing over and over, but you could just never beat it! I even had no idea how I lasted as long as I did. I managed to get seven of the eight non secret medals on my first try. I guess I am just known for being a really good typist. It was just such an intense experience for me.

I doubt I will ever play this game again, because I would just go insane. At least it's kind of unique for itself. If you are good with button pressing as I am, you will love this. This felt like a real workout for my whole body! My finger is still tired!

B1KMusic responds:

Thanks for the feedback :)

I'm glad you liked it

Okay, that was really strange. I thought it would be more like a standard RPG, but it was anything but. I didn't even really understand where I was supposed to be going where this. It didn't show any land, just the enemies randomly appearing. Then again, I guess most RPGs are like that anyway. I appreciate you at least trying to put in original gameplay. If only I could understand it.

As always, thank you for so much for some easy medals. Seeing as how I'm so prolific, I usually don't get leave a game until getting at least one medal. I guess the graphics could be improved on. The sound was actually pretty decent. I was never able to get any gold at all.

squidly responds:

...

No gold at all?

This is funny, because at first, I didn't know this WAS a game. I just immediately died and I didn't even know who I was. That being said, once I got the hang of this, it was a lot more enjoyable. I think its biggest strength is how good the animation is. You are really good at drawing brains. I also like how you get so many oppurtunities in this.

If you fail once, you can just try again. It may not have that much action, but it's all you need in a point and click adventure game. Incidentally, I'm not really a fan of those games. It's still very cool to go through the game like that. I didn't even know you could pick up more weapons.

mexipino responds:

Hahaha, yeah, I purposely just threw the player into the game... I figure, most casual players skip navigating through menus and automatically hit "Play," so, that's my reasoning regarding that. lol.

Thanks a lot man. Yeah, I've been animating for a GOOD while now lol.

Thanks for playing man!

I wasn't that interested in this game at first, but it actually turned out to be pretty cool! I think the best thing about it is how you can casually play the game. Two minutes are more than you think in a game like this. While there wasn't that much in terms of graphics, it was still nice to look at. I mostly just ignored those question marks after awhile. I didn't even care about the upgrades.

I appreciate you making something new and unique for this website. It kind of reminded me of the old Battleship games. Speaking of which, I have yet to see that movie. I had no idea you had to earn so many stars to advance. I guess I'm not as good at this as I thought.

eidern responds:

Thanks,
For the upgrades, I should strongly suggest to upgrade the Light module, it gets the light area around your sub bigger.

And for the stars, I guess I've make it a little to hard for casual players ;p

Thanks for the comments anyway :)

I'm going to admit that there seems to be little point in this game other than to earn medals. Of course, most games are like that anyway. I thought the dirt mound the car went around looked like a bagel. Hmmm, it's been awhile since I've seen a Mario YTP... Anyway, I was thinking this was going to be a real race track. I guess in order for that to go over fifty laps would be impossible.

The graphics are at least good and the controls are very easy. There really isn't anything particularly bad about this game either. There should probably be more detail and more going on. It really is harder than you think. I can tell why there's a medal for being there longer than 20 seconds.

ArgonIlya responds:

The biggest comment. Thank you so much =)

Wow, I have to recommend this game because I was actually able to get the secret medal on my first try. Granted, the rest of the game wasn't much, but at least I got some medals! Anyway, I feel this could have had a lot more detail in it. Then again, detail wasn't the purpose here. The purpose was to create something so simple people would play it...and win medals. The sounds synch well, I guess.

I thought that it would be a game where you projected missiles, like a defense game. Admittedly, I would have preferred that. It's still not bad to see such a crazy and random game. It seems like the kind of thing Andy Warhol would work on. He made entire movies where literally nothing happened.

B1KMusic responds:

Thank you for putting the time to make a detailed review. I really appreciate that :)

When I first came across this game, I was thinking it was just going to be a bad brief game. I turned out to be wrong, as it really did have actual gameplay. I do wish there could have been some more detail, of course. It makes me realize just how many guys are named "Bill". They could have done a ton of jokes like this if on "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series" it was Bill instead of Steve.

It was also cool how the music was also unexpected. I appreciate you having variety in your stuff. This seems like it would have made a good Clock Day submission. I don't know, but Bill Cosby kind of reminds me of them. I even noticed how you changed the choices at the end.

PhantomCat responds:

Bill is already WIlliam abridged, homie.

I did not enjoy this. It was mostly because it was just a bunch of stick men killing each other over and over. There was barely any background and it didn't seem to have anything unique. It's just that stick games have been done so many times before and this didn't bring anything new to the table. There could have been some music too. It was just the same sounds over and over.

The graphics were not that good either. At least it can be fun with how it never ends. There should have been some colors here and there and probably some shading. Every stick man looked the same. I guess that's probably what it was supposed to be like, but I didn't care for it.

LukeElchul responds:

I set a goal, I was seeing what I could do in a day + the 2 hour update last week so I am sorry that it wasent that detailed I will take your advice for my games in the future

Well, this game turned out to be harder than I thought. I was originally thinking it was a platform game and you were supposed to go from one place to another. It turned out to be something much harder, unfortunately. I do think it's cool to have a game where you're in an asylum. You'd think those places would be without harm. It seems like there should have been fewer of those enemies.

I thought I was being timed for the game, but there were no numbers on board. I assume you just keep on playing until you win all the medals. The graphics reminded me of W-P-S. I'm surprised he wasn't billed here, given how a lot of people worked on it. The music was rather suiting too.

samulis responds:

It WAS supposed to be hard. ;) -Samulis

I'm not quite sure what the game has to do with a platformer... it's clearly not the same graphical setup or angle and it has no platforms...

The game can be beaten and we tried to make it clear that you can do that by beating each boss or dominant character in that round... the level select even has a panel that gives tips on defeating each boss, as well as how to defeat the eyes in the first round. Once you beat the first three levels (as displayed in the level select), there IS a time trial if you wish to play that... however, it's essentially just "beat the game as fast as you can". - Tharos

p.s. you are an obsessive reviewer and belong in an asylum. ;)

I found this game to be just okay. It was weird, because I thought it was too simple at first, but then it got a lot harder. The weirdest thing about it was probably in the second level where I didn't even know if the enemies were attacking me. I thought they would throw projectiles at me with their guns but they just shot off this strange gas. I thought it would be a Pokemon game at first.

I could have sworn that Vermillion is the name of a town in Pokemon, but maybe I'm confusing it for Viridian. It's a bit weird how it abruptly sends you back when you fail a level. I think that's what it does, at least. The music is fairly good. The animation could be a tad better, though.

rhys510 responds:

still, you had fun :)
