I'm surprised this doesn't have a higher rating. What I found to be weird was how it was hard to tell whether you could eat something. The last time I died I knew there was an arrow that said "Eat". I imagine that there was just a smaller fish around that big fish. I loved the funny references, like the Squiggly fish. The sound effects are fairly decent too.

It's great to see someone who has made so many unique games. I liked how the fish were all uniquely designed. It's pretty basic gameplay, but it gets better as it goes along. While not great, it's a fun game. The name is pretty cool too.

poxpower responds:

Yeah well there is no perfect system for this given how every fish is different. Like some have a big head and tiny tails or the lobster have bit antenae.
I've tried like 3 different ways to compare the fish sizes and people complained every time.

In the end I just put the little "eat" tags as a foolproof method of telling you what you can eat for sure.

Also yes sometimes fish overlap and it looks like there's an "eat" tag on top of a bigger fish so you have to be careful I guess : p. I might look into that issue.

This was a pretty weird game at first. It said I couldn't press "Enter" at first, but I did and got past the game. For the most part, this was actually quite enjoyable. The hints are a lot more obvious than you would think. I just stopped memorizing the pokemon after the fifth (or fourth or whatever) generation because there were too many of them. I admire anyone who can keep track of all of them.

The music was also nice and pleasant. The first generation ones were the easiest. It was kind of done in a weird format with the one pokemon (now I don't know the name of the one with the sunglasses). Interestingly enough, when it came up, I couldn't advance. Pokemon fans should enjoy this.

Sandile responds:

The "enter" was literally pressing the "Enter" key. It was a glitch from an earlier game that I fixed where pressing the Enter key would mess up the input. I somehow accidentally fixed that glitched this time around, lol.

I wasn't all that interested at first, but it certainly got better the longer I played it! It was interesting with how each robot was unique. That did put you at a disadvantage when two different kinds were attacking you at the same time. The music was quite omnious. As it was made around Halloween, I couldn't help but think that was intentional. Oh, and I hope you had a happy one!

It was fun to see the robots change like that. I don't even know how I got control of the red skinny one. None of them seemed to jump high enough to get a certain powerup, though. It's really a fairly unique game. I found out I prefer kicks to punches.

RatherRandomReality responds:

Sometimes you don't have to jump HIGH enough. You have to jump FAR enough ;)
Thanks for playing, Ericho!

While the game wasn't complicated or anything, that did somewhat make it enjoyable. It was very straighthrough, but maybe a bit too straighthrough. You do kind of realize you're just killing the same guys over and over again. It's still great fun for Madness fans. It's funny how you used the Madness 2012 logo when this was made on Halloween. I guess I'm a bit too late for this.

The graphics were as good as most Madness games. While it didn't stand out much, it was still nice to look at. The music is stylistic, as is most music in these games. I had no idea the zombies could hurt you just by punching you. I guess you'd just go down in one hit if they bit you.

io3creations responds:

Since this is a scaled back "demo" (due to many strange bugs), having headshots would make the game way too easy. The full version will have headshots and MOAR challenging enemies.

Yes, these are special "zombies" :)

Okay, dude, you have officially set a record for the longest time between a flash or game submission on this website! The last one you did was over NINE YEARS ago. I thought you had like, died or something. You do have the most viewed game and the most viewed flash submission on the entire website! That being said, this didn't disappoint. I just want to say right now that I'm not a fan of hentai.

I could at least appreciate this for the great artwork. I have no idea how I managed to miss this the first time it came on the Portal! It will probably be one of the most significant submissions ever! I also loved how the music was really good. I will say that the designs do look a tad old.

sim-man responds:

Yes in fact the game is 10.5-year old. I hope you will also enjoy Simgirls 2 that I am working on.

This is strange. This first appeared as something that you guys apparently took down and I could see why, but now it's back up. This is weird, because it's easily the worst thing you guys ever worked on. You aren't even the kind of people who work with sprite stuff. It was weird how there was no music or sound. There wasn't a lot of detail either.

It looks like you guys were just experimenting. It was just the same page over and over. I thought the blue things were supposed to help you at first. I couldn't help think this was a late April Fool's Day joke or something. Well, you tried, I guess.

Pikanjo responds:

This was my first attempt at HTML5/Canvas which I did for a class assignment a year ago. It is a tiny and repetitive game, but this was more to test out HTML5 submissions on NG for myself as well as Mike/Tom.

I didn't care that much for this, because it wasn't well detailed. It reminds me of some other Windows parodies that were better. There was one from awhile ago that managed to actually have some pictures and songs. This just seems to be a bit of a waste. Of course, I have to say I enjoyed it because of the medals I got. It looks as though they are back to working.

It was fun to see those medals pop up over and over. I've probably gotten all of them in just one play. There could have been better graphics. You did seem to get everything right with how the text was represented. It doesn't take much, but it fits.

TheMadWasp responds:

Thanks Ericho, I can add more detail, but that would mean finding pictures of Windows XP Desktops, icons and other stuff.
I could make pictures and songs appear on my next error gallery, but I'm comfortable leaving it with this one.
Thanks for the review.

As someone who is not a fan of RPG's, I wasn't that interested in playing this. I was very surprised to find out how fun this game was! It seems like you have made such a wide variety of games! It was great to see how well the graphics worked. There were all sort of interesting things going on, like the giants or the different kinds of houses. The music also kept you in high spirit.

It was amazing to look at all the cool little details. It was even nice to hear the cries from the people. This is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I guess when you review as many things as I have, you tend to find something in every category that you like. It was great positioning and playing everything in this game! I hope this wins Daily Feature.

IriySoft responds:

Thanks %)

I was really turned off by how there was no sound in this. I will admit that the graphics are fairly decent. Another problem I have is that it's a bit hard to get used to. It seemed like you were looking for something that was big and this did fit the bill. You have to pay attention to absolutely everything going on here. I can actually see this becoming better.

I should judge it fairly as it is a demo. Then again, demos are kind of frowned upon on this website. It had a pretty funny title too. You might want to put in a couple of enemies, but then again, it is pretty hard on its own. I like how the liquids move.

jozzarozzer responds:

Yeah the sound and music is something i will be working on closer to the end of development and there are a couple of enemies in the fourth level (the first grass level)

This was a pretty weak game. It was strange how your game got the image preview for NG Game Jam 8 when it's the lowest rated. It's not so much that the graphics are that bad, it's just that there isn't much detail. You seem to need to know more about lines and how to put variety in your creations. The music isn't that bad, I guess. It doesn't help that I'm not a fan of point and click adventure games.

I couldn't see how this could be appealing to people who are fans of those kinds of games. I clicked through everything and nothing seemed to work. I can understand how this was made in six hours. It's not that appropriate for the jam, but it did get in the collection. There should be more detail and gameplay.

maxman43 responds:

I know plenty about lines. For example, the shortest distance between two points is a line. Geometry is fun stuff.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
