[Awesome Center Redux]

ZOMBIE CANCER!

I think this is the best in the entire "Awesome" series that you have ever made. It helps because this is just something you imagine making yourself. You want to see the most exaggerated versions of these characters as you can and silly violence. There was no point with the hot gray-haired women in there, except that she was hot. I love how their noses and ears keep disappearing to emphasize how silly and random it is. It is basically what the laws of cartoon physics truly give us in entertainment.

[Spookyville 2]

The best Spookyville ever!

It is submissions like these that really make you wish that Spookyville was a much longer lived series, as it itself made fun of. I would be interested in knowing why you made a different account for these flashes. The best joke is definitley how everyone keeps going to a different level of Heaven. The final punchline is great when they all just go to Hell. Come on, all those Heavens had to stop somewhere! The animation is fantastic and the characters really develop themselves and I love the intro and art and everything!

[Contra]

Probably the best Contra tribute here

The really cool thing about this is that at first you think it is going to be a tribute made using sprites. While I have nothing against sprites, this is still way better than any sprite tribute. It sets itself apart from other stick flashes because the characters move with more dimension. Some better parts include the CGI-looking cannon. Even a fan of Contra has no idea what is going to happen next, like the shadow monster appearing. The way the villians are shown in green silhouete is another cool and original thing.

[Circuit Skirmish 2]

So close!

I am glad it got the Review Crew Pick, even though it was so close from getting all three main awards! As Robot Day has passed, this flash now has more relevance than ever here. The best thing here is probably the animation and how much depth the characters get (I especially love the overviews of the city). Of course, the action scenes are great in their own right as well. There are so many different styles here, but it still has everything you could want in a robot cartoon. It is just fun to see the enemy slowly get damaged.

Poor Pee Wee

Now, I actually did not grow up with Pee Wee Herman, so I can not really tell if this is a good tribute, but I highly doubt it. The text shown at the beginning did not even match what was being said. If there were any good points, it is that it was relatively short. I did not like it how there was really nothing but stick drawings. I suggest you have more frames being used so that there can be a ton more action. It just was lacking in so many areas, I could find few good things and the music was pretty annoying.

Lots of fun

Of all the surreal stuff you submitted, I think this may in fact be the most surreal thing you have ever made! It started out as sort of a Super Mario Bros. pastiche, but really took off. It was about what we all grew up with and coming to realize just how ridiculous those video games were. I keep thinking your cartoons are made by stop motion or something. I love all the unique monster designs, even if some only appeared briefly. As a pastiche of video games, it surprisingly had a lot of original elements to it.

That neenja

I love this stuff because the animation is so great and it is just like something you would see in a professional cartoon. What is so good about this particular one is that we actually see the neenja fighting a monster as a ninja should. I noticed how his dad looked like Albert Einstein. It is obviously a great setting up for a much more massive fight. The fight might have been a bit better, but it is so good in principle. It is especially nice to see the neenja manage to gain character development and not just be invincible in every way.

Praise the world

I find it wonderful that people are making so artistic works about natural disasters that seem unknown to the mainstream or simply forgotten by now. It had some of the most unique animation. It makes you realize that although China has the highest population, every individual is special as is every other citizen of the world. The music is so authentic and is great for the style. It just has the most heartwarming tone I could ever think of. There will always be people looking for us and who look out for the goodness of mankind.
