[Devil May Cry M2 *SE*]

Mixed emotions

Well, there are many parts of me that find this good and other parts that do not. The animation was generally good, but there were some cheap effects. It just seemed at times like the characters didn't move very smoothly through their environments. I actually know little about the "Devil May Cry" series, so I can not judge this as being authentic to the game. This is still interesting because the fight scenes are good. Some of the dialogue is kind of cheesy.

This is best shown when he says his dead mother could fight better. I will admit that it is a unique flash seeing as how it's different in reviews than its score. There was a wide variety of colors being used so that was done well. Maybe work on some more of the animation especially with the swords. The designs are good, though.

It must have been hard to bury her

This was a very fun cartoon because it was just so wacky and took refuge in how ridiculous it was. I thought you were going to go for a more obvious joke and have the guy really having an affair with her. Hmmm, well maybe that did happen and you just did not say so. What's truly cool is how well the animation flows. I had no idea that his wife was still alive, but at least she's dead now. When I first saw the title, I thought you were talking about Tom Fulp's wife!

Well, let's hope his wife doesn't end up with the fate of this wife. I liked how there was no color except for the red roses. Hey, for all we know, his wife could have been a zombie so he had every justification to kill her like that! It's also neat how the image at the end stays the same way until you replay it. This was great fun for a quick laugh.

Don't let it all end!

I first voted on this yesterday and I had a feeling it was going to win Daily Feature. It just goes to show that something in lower case letters isn't always poorly done. This was great because it was just so simple and made you realize how much you valued life. The ironic thing is of course he only learned out how to value life as he was dying. At least he died happy. While this was a more funny than sad cartoon, I felt that it teached a good lesson.

It reminds me of the time I went parasailing. I doubt I will ever go parachuting, but the feeling of being up in the air is really cool. There was not a bunch of elaborate effects and shots in this, because it didn't need to have it. It was just a very down to earth cartoon. Now that I mention it, it's actually quite literally down to earth.

I'm glad I went in the right direction and I'm actually getting to people into both sides (serious and funny), and that my art style is pleasing. And yeah, some people fail to see how life can be great, they just give up on pursuing great things for themselves, of course it was an extreme case in this animation.

That said, parasailing must be freaking awesome!

[The Shark Show Thing]

Brilliant!

This was great because it had all the surrealism that makes your work so beautiful here. I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen next or why anything was happening. I am starting to think it may have been a test simulation. That is why the random guy in the labrotory appeared and shot the shark. It is funny to know that the shark's weiner was an actual weiner. I had no idea he was going to pull that thing out and it would have seemed easier to just put the right things in.

I admit that I felt some sympathy for the raccoon as it was watching the shark dying. You rarely see stuff like that in your cartoons. The music is as good as ever and it does a good job of adding to the silliness of the overall cartoon. There's just so many things to look at here. There's a cardboard sun, a shark growing legs, everything!

[Return of the Bed Bugs]

Very underrated!

This was a very cool flash to watch because there was just so much going on. These bed bugs were going around literally tearing up this guy's body. Do not worry, it will not keep me awake as I managed to watch it at nightime. There could have been a bit more detail in the bedbugs but great besides that. I was unsure of whether this was from a professional band, but it was really from an independent contributor here. This song is really catchy and I see you going somewhere with this.

The weirdest thing was probably when the one bedbug was killing everyone. Granted, I want those bed bugs to die but that guy must just have very bad aim. The creepiest part is easily when they rip his skin open and dunk into it. I do think it's a bit too early to be talking about the 2012 Olympics. The best part of the music is those little toots that go on in the background.

We thought it would be a quick one to make coz the song is about one minute long. But ended up cramming more and more action into a smaller space. You live and learn. The creepiest bit for me is where they are flying through the air and land in his neck! Ta very much for the review Ericho

[Sylar's Confliction]

I recognize it!

While I never watched "Heroes" I do recall a character named Sylar there. It's mostly because the show was so dang popular it was referenced everywhere! The thing that kept me from giving this a higher rating was that really disgusting thing at the end. It's too bad something as popular as "Heroes" did not get a collab finished. At least you managed to put a really interesting twist on the narrative. I guess I also would have liked it more if I could understand it.

I can however understand how conflicted a lot of fictional characters are. His dad kind of looks like George W. Bush! What was interesting was that this was good enough to be a cartoon on its own which it turned out to be. Some stuff on collabs doesn't look very good on its own. At least we managed to make one "Heroes" flash.

The coolest thing about this was the voice work. I am not sure why, but the voice actor really reminds me of Dirge from "Xombie". In fact, the atmosphere of this entire series (at least this entry) reminds me of the Xombie series. This is of course great in its own right. It's quite impressive with how you were able to come back with new episodes after all this time. The stories grow in sophistication along with the animation.

I really had little idea what was going on here, but it was great. The artwork is easily the best I have ever seen from you. There were just so many unique designs and an interesting mystery to go along with the designs. I just find it strange how he's able to bring out these red things that stab the guy. It might have been a longer fight.

[Orange - The Movie]

Nice orange

When I first saw the title, it reminded me of the Annoying Orange. I guess he will always manage to beat OrangeClock in terms of famous Internet oranges. Oh well, at least you managed to show some really good animation in this. The main flaw with it is that really nothing happens except an orange landing in the middle of nowhere. At least you manage to make it a very nice orange. Another downside was how there was no sound in this.

You do not even have to put in sound that syncs with the cartoon. You can even find some song on the Internet to put into your flash. You would be surprised at how many flashes there are here that really have no sound at all other than music. Orange happens to be my favorite color. I would just love to see this with a lot more of a story.

[Pico in Wonderland]

It's just smooth

While this did not have the most in terms of plot, it was still fun to watch. The thing that really won me over was how good the animation was. Everything just moves so gracefully and there's so much color to show everywhere. I liked how it ended with him falling into the pit and dying at the end. I guess he did not actually go to Wonderland at all and was apparently high or something. BTW, Lewis Carroll has stated the meaning behind his book was not drugs, but actually people making things up in mathematics.

The thing I did not like was that some of the characters did not seem that appropriate for the roles. I guess I'm being nitpicky, but the Tankmen guy doesn't remind me of the caterpillar. Of course, I guess we don't have many druggie mascots. It is great you managed to win an award for Pico Day. You are now even the new person whose cartoon is the preview image for Pico Day 2011!

[Spider Pals]

Very graceful

While not the most elaborate submission, it still worked because of how adorable it was. For something that was rather mundane, this was very well detailed. It reminds a person of the times he used to use crayons when he was a kid. The best part was how the person warmed up to the spider eventually. I think that at some parts of our lives we have all had insect friends. Well, spiders aren't technically insects but you get the idea.

It's just nice to see how smooth everything looks in this cartoon. It does have a fairly sad ending but maybe I shouldn't feel so much for a spider anyway. It was interesting to have such a wide variety of audio submissions being used. I think this will win Daily Feature. You have reached into the inner child of us all with this.
