It was great seeing all these artists together! My favorite might have been the "South Park" one. That was...Stonman! I can't even describe all these different parts. They're all so good. Yes, I do wish there was a collab like this with color.

I counted 127 credited people. Ooh, so close to beating your record for last year! I still can't help but love this. Maybe you could have arranged it in alphabetical order? I don't know how you chose the number, but anyway it's fantastic!

Stonmann responds:

Wait really you liked mine XD Fr? :0 mh mh I mean yea that one was pretty cool.

It was pretty weird to see a movie like that with no resolution. I mean, it still works with how mundane it is. We all know what it's like to have a flight delayed. Well, I haven't had trouble with snow like forever. I live in Florida! My favorite part might have been when he was frozen. I mean, that makes perfect sense.

I think that was a fart at the end. Merry Clock Christmas! Well, all it really had was snow. The set up was really good. Hey, I haven't seen Pube Muppet in a long time!

Pop-Tart responds:

The resolution is the friends we made along the way.

Yeah, I have in fact seen some of these before. Wait, with all the stuff I've reviewed, of course I've seen these before! Yeah, these segments were a lot longer than what the cartoon actually said. It doesn't make any sense. I was expecting to see "Crack Miser". I mean, it included ones made this year!

Such an epic cartoon should have been advertised for awhile like many massive collabs. My favorite was probably the CGI one or whatever technique was used. I'm not doing back to look at the title. Merry Christmas indeed! Congrats on having one of the longest submissions ever!

Kolumbo responds:

the bumpers are supposed to immitate a tv schedule - not actual animations length or timecodes - probably should've included "PM" after the numbers there to make that more clear. thanks for the review and happy holidays!

Intrapath responds:

Yeah, there were at least a handful of animations that debuted ahead of this entry. Still, it was awesome to see them all collected here!

I never understood why he said, "Happy birthday!". Wait, I just saw this for the first time like a week ago! Anyway, this was hilarious. I had no idea it would be the same guy who kept appearing. I guess that makes sense. I guess it's just the hat in itself that's alive, maybe?

Wow, that escalated. From a dead grandmother to the entire planet! The grandmother's body looked like she was already coming back to life! The animation was just like the cartoon! Merry Christmas 2023!

VoicesByCorey responds:

He says Happy Birthday because it's the Day he comes alive! :D...and dies!

Dang, the lyrics kept confusing me. Was it always "The Undead" or "Beyond Death" or "Beyond Dead"? I think it kept changing. Anyway, this was fantastic. Music videos are actually pretty long for a lot of submissions here. This looks like a comic book literally come to life.

The designs were just fantastic. I think this is today's best submission. The action was great and everything was brought together perfectly. The visuals were better than the song. Uh, the title says "Ghoutown" and not "Ghoultown". Whatever, this was amazing.

Sarkazm responds:

Oops! Title fixed, thanks for pointing out the typo.
And thanks! It's actually both "I am the Undead" and "I am beyond Death":

[Verse 1]
Walking in a twisted world
A place I don't belong
Nothing left to see
Everything is gone
Land is cursed, the skies are black
Monsters all around
Bloody hands, the smell of death
Rot is in the ground

[Chorus]
Can't remember who I am
I'm never gonna rest
Life is but a curse in this hellish bloody west
Cleanse the barren lands
With a vengeance in my breath
'Cause I am
I am the undead
I am the undead

[Verse 2]
Survival on the line
I cannot find the light
The sound of darker things
Out there in the night
Am I alive or maybe dead?
Have I won or lost?
To rid this land of its curse
Comes at such a cost

[Chorus]
Can't remember who I am
I'm never gonna rest
Life is but a curse in this hellish bloody west
Cleanse the barren lands
With a vengeance in my chest
'Cause I am
I am
The undead
I am the undead
I am the undead
I am beyond death

I loved this because of the animation. When I first saw this submitted, I immediately thought that it would win an award, if not Daily Feature. I'm good at predicting these things! The animation was fantastic. It's mostly awesome because it takes something so mundane to make it amazing. There's another rhyme!

It was quite suspenseful. I was thinking it was going to end with him wetting his pants. I'm glad it didn't. I found myself rooting for these guys. It deserves this award.

chinzverse responds:

I appreciate that a lot thank you!! 🙏🏾

Okay, I will admit this was very short. Yeah, for me it wasn't good. I still do like this animation a lot. It worked have worked better as a gif. Still, I've seen tons of stuff worse. It wasn't even really about Christmas.

It could have taken place in any time in winter. Oh wait, war on Christmas. This guy looks like a cat. Well, maybe more like a ghost. Uh, a ghost cat.

WackyKatto responds:

Thank you for the review and feedback!!
The character is Kart Kid from Tower Heroes.

Aww, you got a Daily 2nd Place! That ought to count for something. It was great to learn about Oney. Yep, I'm a fan of him as well as you. It's weird to see something start on account here after YouTube started. Seems like this website was the closest thing we had before YouTube.

You know, with people submitting stuff, albeit not live-action videos. I love that OneySephiroth drawing. It was great to look back at these cartoons. "Telefrancais Collab" was my favorite. I had no idea that was even a real show!

Bobert-Rob responds:

Yeah, it was a bizarre collab to even do at all. But of course it'd be me to spearhead something so random, especially back then.

Youtube's birth and rise to fame took a lot of us by surprise, considering all those other startup video sites that claimed the same things Youtube was. But then Hollywood backed it, and then Google bought em'. It was kind of cemented at that point. Newgrounds may not enjoy as much of the spotlight as it did in those days, but there's still a thriving art community here. They just can't ignore Youtube like they used to.

Also, thanks! And a front page to boot. Of course, I blame the topic more than anything else. Still, I've been wanting to do Storytime style videos for awhile, and I think this was a fun topic to cover. I wish there was more to tell, but it was such a short window. If it wasn't for the animations and messages, I'd question if it ever happened at all.

Wow, I wasn't expecting something this great! Everything was just so beautiful. It seemed like a 2D girl on a 3D screen. It didn't go too over the top. Well, it did literally go over the top. What a wonderful dedication!

She just looked so small. You truly deserve your Daily Feature. You know how to create atmosphere. It definitely seems like software from something called Blender. These seem like blended animation styles.

aggimajera responds:

You'd probably be interested to know, this project was actually scraped together when the original idea morphed into something I didn't like. I had to start mostly all over, and I think it got pulled together alright. I'm really grateful you liked it :D

I can wait until 2024. It's so weird how the Spongebob one came right away. I don't even like this movie that much. I know I'll still love this collab! I have seen many of the parts already. Dorito's are awesome.

My favorite part might have been 0:40. Pidgy, you're awesome! You guys are all awesome of course! I only saw the movie once as a kid. Yes, it would have been better if there was an "Emperor's New Groove" collab.

WesMakowski responds:

two references to the Emperor's New Groove in the El Dorado Redialed so that's as close as we'll get to make a collab version of that film. Try re-watching El Dorado, you notice a lot more when you're older...

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
