This reminds me of a Creepypasta titled "Dead Mall". I binge read Creepypastas every year. It had a fountain too! It was interesting how this got dark so fast. It actually ended on a very uplifting note. Well, at least more uplifting than many horror stories.

It had very nice colors. This was kind of the thumbnail for Halloween Movies 2024. It just wasn't the image used as the actual thumbnail. Whatever, I think it counts. It's nice to have a well done Halloween cartoon.

horrorhare responds:

omg!! i had no clue anyone made a dead mall creepypasta, id love to read it!
in another universe, i wouldve been able to pace this film a lot differently so it didnt immediately jump to being 'dark'. i had plans for a completely different beginning! but alas, ill have to just keep those ideas in my back pocket for now :(
thank you for enjoying my work though!!

I have to admit I was surprised this was under "Movies". I mean, it was a visual novel. There was a good amount of interactivity with this. That made it more interesting. I really liked their designs. The music was nice too.

It was a cute little interactive cartoon. I'm more interested in the drawings than the dialogue. I'm glad it didn't get sexual. I was afraid it would. You can never quite tell with these ratings.

KittyhawkMontrose responds:

Thank you for reading! 💖 I'm glad you liked the experience and the characters.

This was amazing! The mixing of dialogue was just perfect. I especially remember Wooldoor's line about the Penis Tower. That's a "Drawn Together" joke, BTW. I haven't seen Pingas in a long time. I thought it would be annoying.

Instead, it turned out to be perfect! The animation was amazing with how Robotnik moved around like Sonic. The whole thing was just beautiful. We got some amazing submissions for together. Everything moved together so perfectly. The live-action bit was great too.

Countess-Karo responds:

I was hoping somebody'd notice the Drawn Together line! That was actually one of the big things that made me fully finish this one, since the line fit too well to not use.

Dang, I'm really starting to like these cartoons! The best part was probably how the animation. Everything was so bright and colorful here. The movements were so good. I appreciate all the effort put into these colors. It's all done without dialogue.

Was this something submitted for Cartoon Network? Is it something to be made into a video game? Either way, it looks great. It's another great cartoon from you. It was really cool.

EXIT73STUDIOS responds:

Thanks so much fore the kind words:) These are cinematics for our game #BLUD:)
It's a love letter to Cartoon network and old school zelda!

Yes, I knew that was Adam MacArthur! I love Marco so much! I guess Double Dare Bear wasn't real. That is, until the VERY last second. This was just awesome. The animation was gorgeous.

Your work seems familiar. I must not have reviewed that many of your submissions. It's a shame as you're an underappreciated artist. I have never played Truth or Dare before. I assume you just lose if you decline a Dare (or Truth).

BroatsShorts responds:

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! Glad you liked it!

What the hell?! It's been awhile since I've seen something new on the Portal Top 50. It was truly wonderful to see this animation style. How did this re-emerge after all these years? I don't care, it's awesome! It is kind of grotesque.

It's still awesome with these fight scenes. Why would a pinata have blood? Well, nothing in here really makes sense. I'm glad it didn't get "too" gross. I didn't like those nipple fists.

LordSpew responds:

Hey! So this was a cartoon that I made a long time ago! It was up in 2011. But because it was in development with some studios, I had to remove it from everywhere. I'm putting this back online now to promote BODYHEAD, a series based off of this short that is coming out tomorrow on Adult Swim's Youtube Channel! Newgrounds was a part of its origin and I'm happy to be able to put this back up where it belongs.

Sorry about the nipple fists (jk Im not hehehe)

That was a nice little piece of animation. I will admit that it was too short. I love how you mention both "Sonic Adventure 2" and the third Sonic movie. They're doing everything with Sonic lately, aren't they? I just wanted to see some fighting. It's still nice for a little cartoon.

The animation really is stellar here. You are amazing with outlines. I really do like the shapes of those buildings on top. Well, I guess they're not really buildings, aren't they? I guess I have to be familiar with the games to understand the location.

kyalbrownart responds:

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it :)
And yeah, the buildings(?) are meant to be from Sonic Adventure 2's final stages. I dunno what exactly they are either in-game tbh haha. I actually really want to redo them though, backgrounds are my weakest part that I want to improve on >:D

This cartoon was just okay for me. I'm sorry that I couldn't give it a higher rating. I think it should have been longer. It was just that the lines seemed off. I did like the ending. "Dragonball Z" is pretty awesome.

I did like some designs. The store clerk's was pretty good. He almost looked like Mario. How was this a music video? I mean, nothing synched with the music.

StaggerNight responds:

Thank you Ericho!

Holy crap! I counted 252 kills, exactly twice as much as the previous record for most kills I saw for this year! I think 252 might be a new record in ANY Madness cartoon! It was amazing how it just kept going on and on and on. I think my favorite might be Danilivanov11. That might only be because I thought it had the most kills!

Madness will NEVER die out! It was hard to tell who I was supposed to root for here. I recognized some Madness characters though. Oddly enough, I haven't seen much of Jebus, Tricky or the Auditor lately. We still need all the variety we can get! I could gladly watch every Madness cartoon ever made put back to back for an infinitely long clip here and not get bored!

astlari responds:

its a random clip collab theres nobody to root for

Okay, I can see why the rating is low. Still, this was much better than a lot of other things like it. I've seen a lot of submissions where it's just one of those things. You don't need to submit them here. It worked great as a compilation. People should submit more things like this.

Granted, it's still not good. There isn't much happening. I'm glad you labeled it as experimental. That truly is the best description. You did miss this submission by one day.

crewsto567 responds:

thanks^^
