I generally don't care for really short stuff, but this was really quite impressive. It didn't make me think of a playground. It made me think of a casual video game. It could be used in like a Mario cut scene. They don't have that much plot. Maybe it could appear on a loading screen.

I really do appreciate how graceful this is. You didn't have to be fancy or anything. You just showed devotion to what you really cared about. A 4.99?! Okay, now THAT'S the highest score I've ever seen.

Grandvision responds:

Thanks, as for the score, yeah, no idea what is going on there. :D

This wasn't much variety, but I didn't care. It was simply great to hear heavy metal like this. It's been awhile since I've heard that here. The title is a bit too generic, though. It still works great with the actual content. It's a pretty good length, too.

I guess "punk" goes in well with rock and heavy metal. Geez, I don't even know if my brother ever woke up that late! Anything this hardcore would keep you awake. Great work.

BERSERKYD responds:

I'll use that as some kind of motivation fuel ! Great review ! Thanks !

I really DO wish I could remember this as being featured in the Lumination game. This is one of the most graceful songs I have ever heard. It's just such a pleasant song. There's so much wonderful detail put into everything. It's so sullen. I love the sound at 3:44 especially.

It shows how strong you are as a composer. I guess that's an appropriate term to use here. Everything is so wonderful you deserve the utmost credit. It seems like it's kind of mysterious. It's about a person wondering what their meaning is. That's a wonderful feeling.

Qelaion responds:

Thank you very much. :)

I'm glad to bet the first reviewer for this! I thought this was good, but not great. I think it just got a little too repetitive. It's still a nice song. I can really hear the drums coming together in this. I'm glad you wanted us to relax.

I hope you had a kick with this, too. Drums are pretty soothing, now that I think about it. I guess that's this song's biggest appeal. Three minutes seems like a good length. The title is probably the coolest part.

AliceMako responds:

Really, well i'm glad you're glad even if i don't know what the added value of a first review is.

Four years ago already, where has the time gone? I'm fairly certain i wasn't making anything great ( yet? ) and even whether or not i do now is a matter of opinion or taste at the end of the day.

I have to wonder if no longer adding my intentions for a piece is perhaps to the detriment of my work, i kind of gave up on writing anything other then my wish for people to enjoy it because over the years i've gotten the impression that the majority of people don't read what i write but i could of course be completely wrong about this.

I did have a good time making this if i remember correctly, it was also still safe to post in ambient though if made today i'd probably file it under experimental as it's not a very thorough effort on my part from the sound of it. I'd say most of the repetitiveness comes from poor instrument presence and my inability to mix a track to any notable effect, both due to plain inexperience and the version of reason i was on at the time still lacking a lot of features to this end.

The title comes from fetish slang, it can mean a number of things depending on the context :3

I'm glad you enjoyed and thanks for listening.

I remember hearing that song so often. It is so nice someone made a submission out of it! I will admit that it's not quite what I thought it would be. Of course, there's nothing wrong with you changing a bit. You have such good focus here. There really have been too many variants of this to count.

This may be the first time I heard a musical variant. That was certainly fresh. It's softer than the original. I do, of course, like the original more. This is still quite good in its own right.

Thanks I have recently been working on updated versions of my songs to be released on our gamers and game developer social network https://cimmarian.com I'll be sure to make an announcement each time a new album is released.

I do not normally hear songs this long on the website, but this worked out very well. It's mostly because you get such a great sense of adventure out of it. I think I got kind of a Metroid feel from this. I guess it just came off as sci-fi to me. It looks like most people love this! It is quite ambitious music.

I get the feeling of things being built up in this. Then again, it doesn't really add up to much. It's simply great with the styles it sets up for itself. I like that in a song. It's great to hear the different notes being used.

kuro-rpg responds:

Kinda too bad the game this was made for never got off the ground, though I still listen to the track once in a while.

Thank you for your kind words. :)

It seems like I would have heard this song before. I guess I'm just so used to Zelda music, it's hard to tell. I wish I had played Ocarina of Time as a kid! It was even the highest rated video game ever! I really did appreciate how well paced it was. It worked well for its length.

I was a little disappointed at first that this wasn't that long. I now like it much more. It really does change in tone. It starts off as a soft adventure, but then it gets even softer. Even with the same rate, I noticed the change.

brujeria responds:

I made a softer version of it if you're down to listen to that.

I don't quite remember this song. It must be a remix of something else. Uh, happy very belated Madness Day! I love how this starts off so calm, but then becomes more adventurous. The introduction of the clapping hands is nice too. I would expect something like this for a Madness cartoon.

It's just that, well, it's more graceful than most of its kind. That certainly makes it unique. I think there's a piano being played. It has a fairly good amount of variety. That makes it ambituous.

YouriX responds:

This is actually a original song of mine! I made it for my maddness animation. Anyways i made alot of songs even i sometimes forget. Hahah, glad you enjoyed my song ;)

Is this an actual language? I can't really tell. It's still pretty hard to say anything bad about this, because this really is a very nice song. I can only imagine what kind of programs you used to make it. I don't know that much about song editing. I am glad it gets more intense as the song goes on.

It really is quite an artful song. I don't know if there was someone singing this. If it was someone, then she has a very nice voice. You know how to use reflection quite well. Everything echoes into itself in a great manner.

hania responds:

Hey! I'm the girl singing in this, I just made a bunch of sounds (so it's not a real language) and arranged the whole thing on my own. It's just me singing and then singing on top of my singing. ;) Glad you like it!

Wow, I think this is my favorite audio submission of yours. It just helps that it's so beautiful. I was expecting something really flashy, but this is anything but. It truly shows how hard you've worked to capture the grace of music. It's something that deserves to be more popular. It makes me glad that I review everything I listen to.

This just gives a really good spirit all around. It reminds me of when I played the piano. You know, my mom still does that. Even the name indicates how beautiful it is. Thank you for this masterpiece.

Sqeezy responds:

Thanks so much. You're a great motivator. Whenever I come here and see you've left new reviews they always cheer me up and inspire me to submit something new. Thanks

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
