This is another great song, because it seems to be a bit more pleasant than some of your other ones. There's still a bit of an angry tone to it, but it is softer. The repitition works pretty well. I couldn't tell what band you were trying to emulate here. It sounds like a unique style on its own. I love how your voice does so well with range.

Hey, I just noticed the audio submissions have a new series of images for the visual portion. Well, I just wanted to say I liked it. You get the good sense that you're working hard on your instruments. This song seems more hopeful than the others. It's nice to hear it slowly get weaker at the end.

Affinitia responds:

Glad that you enjoyed this song. Thanks!

While not as good as your first song, this was still wonderful. It's probably because I'm slowly becoming more familiar with you. It seems like each song you write is a further journey into your psyche. I don't quite understand the words to this song, but I really don't need to. What matters is that you have such a good spirit. It does kind of make you realize about how life goes.

Hopefully, everything will work out for you and everyone else. Your voice sounds so different than the other times I've heard. I guess it shows good vocal range. I wish I could be as good as you, as my only audio submission has a score of 0.51. Honestly, I'm the worst there is!

Affinitia responds:

I will listen to your audio submission pretty soon here. :)

Wow, I was truly touched by this. It was amazing to review the first ever song you submitted here, seeing as how you have so many. It is so good to see someone so talented go back to some form of work. Even if you never go back to flash cartoons, you've left us with this great music. It just sounds so ambitious. It's not too dark or lighthearted or anything.

It seems like it's just something you made that emphasizes what you have on your mind. You even have a great singing voice. I seriously don't even know if I've heard your voice before, as you haven't done your own stuff before. It's so great that there's so many things going on in this song. At the same time, it isn't disorganized or cluttered. The organization is wonderful.

Affinitia responds:

Thanks! This song was written when I got really sick one time and then I recorded several versions. This was the first time I really tried to use a drum machine to make a song. I also had recently gotten out of my band "Aida" that I was in during highschool. We were very ambient and I was definitely taking what I learned from them before they kicked me out of the band and trying to apply it to my own music.

I can see why Tom Fulp chose this to be his all time favorite audio submission! I have seen the Dark Knight Rises trailer and believe that this is indeed similar to the music that was used. I appreciate how well it set itself up. It was just great to hear how there was a lot going on. It really created tension and I especially liked the angelic voices. I guess we can only hope the actual movie is as good as this.

I also love how it ends on an ambigious note. It makes you realize there's still going to be tension as the movie states. Next to the Avengers one, it's the most awaited movie of the year! I can just imagine bad stuff slowly happening until it finally builds up to a great finale. Each note and sound was well done and distinct. Thank you for such a great song!

Devastus responds:

I had no idea Tom Fulp had this in his favourites. That's insane.

I have yet to see the movie but I hope I hit the right notes with this one. Thanks alot for the feedback!

This one wasn't as good as some other stuff I've heard lately, but it's still decent. I wish you would have put more variety in it. It's still a good song because it seems like you really wanted to create something that was graceful and flowed well together. The best parts are probably the more technological parts. It gives you a good sense of being in a strange world. I would think with a title like this, it would be more intimidating.

The technological parts seem to be rubbing off on me more and more. It was nice to hear some voices, even if it didn't make much sense. That has absolutely never stopped me from liking a song before. It almost has this sparkling feeling to it. It may not be that well organized, but it's nicely done.

Thank you, I really appreciate your input. I'd been out of the dubstep community for quite some time and this was my re-introduction to the genre, so I know it's rough around the edges. I will work harder on keeping the whole song technological next time I make one! Also, the title, I envisioned a mountain covered in snow, and when the drop came, an avalanche came. That is why I added the vocals in there and titled it Falling Down. Thanks again for your comment.

I thought this song was put together fairly nicely. It mostly helped that it had such an ambitious style to it. It probably could have used some more variety, but it holds up well for its time period. I appreciate you trying to make everything sound electronic. Most of the songs we make are like that anyway. I think my favorite part was near the end when I started to hear some voices. At that point, it really seemed like you were trying to put a mystic spin on your song.

I love how delicately it sends itself off too. The beginning also gives it a great start for having more action. While it did have tension, I didn't so much get the feeling of action. It was great how it build itself up and then back down again. It's a really nice song to listen to.

Thank you very much for this review. It took me a while to write this one. It is definitely hard to write music alone without making it sound repetitive or boring. I appreciate the comments.

I thought this was a great song! It's mostly because it has this really hopeful mood to it. Then again, the description you gave of it was anything but. Oh well, either way, it's a great song. It seems like you were trying to create the impression of things sparkling. It just sounded very ambitious to me. You don't often come across songs this long and one that is so long usually turns out to be really good.

You may have also been trying to imitate some game taking place in a castle like "Castlevania". It had sort of a medieval atmosphere, now that I think about it. There are a lot of good, contrasting styles going here. It's just a very enjoyable song that has a lot of atmosphere. It does it better than most songs.

ZaronX responds:

Thanks for the feedback! c: Glad you liked it!

The song is part of a larger project that I've continued to prod at over the last year. Hopefully soon I can follow up on this and Artificial Nature with something, as it's been slow going and my time is kinda scattered. The goal of the whole shebang is to fuse electronic sounds with more traditional instruments, most notable here being the piano. If you like this one, you may wanna keep an eye out for the others as I slowly trudge along~?

I thought this was a very good song, probably because of how zany it was. Now that I listen to it harder, I can definitley see the Madness influence. That stuff appears all the time on this website. I like how it even has a cybernetic technological tone to it. It makes you think about some future where a war is taking place. I have no idea what that guy is saying in this, it sounds like "Bangarush"!

This struck me as fairly unique even in a website where there are so many things out there. I like how it kind of has a haunting melody to it. It seems to experiment with itself with a lot of nice styles which is good for variety. It's even at a good length. It's funny when the woowoo sounds come in.

Oakwood responds:

Thanks for the review! I'm hearing a lot of 'woowoo' synths myself, but I think I know what you mean ;)

Wow, I was amazed at how wonderfully graceful this song was. It's really cool that Krinkels put this as one of his favorite songs of all time. Even someone who makes cartoons with constant killing has a soft spot for great music. This may not have had much variety, but it didn't need it at all. It's been awhile since I've recognized a violin being played. It is just a wonderful soothing song.

I remember studying all the great classic composers in school. I don't remember this piece by Bach specifically, but it seems like something he would make. It really makes you appreciate how beautiful music can be. It's miraclous how much you can accomplish with just a mouse, keyboard, and editing. You really put your heart and soul into this thing. It's one of the best songs I've ever listened to.

hzlancer responds:

many thanks.

Wowsa!

It's great that you managed to get no reviews that weren't a 10 until well...me. I'm sorry, but I didn't find it to be as great as most people apparently did. Its downside was that it seemed to just be the same thing over and over. If it's going to be that, then it really shouldn't be so long. There is some variety towards the end and it's still a great song to listen to. I just love how there's such an upbeat style to this, even if I don't understand it.

As I couldn't understand it, was this supposed to be in Russian? For whatever it was, it certainly worked out to be an effective song. I appreciate the unique tunes and melodies used for this. It really gives off the appearance of a classic hip-hop song. Then again, maybe that wasn't the intention as I haven't heard Russian hip-hop before.

Crueltool responds:

You also can listen more my beats in my collection. New track every 5 days.
Thanks for comment man.
