I really do feel bad for myself as I'm not interested in the story. It seems too massive for me. I can still give you credit for having a great design. The mood is set up quite well. You should be able to figure it out on your own. I like the music.

Once again, you have a lot of different songs. It is hard to tell all of them apart, though. I like this ongoing story. I'm glad it wasn't an RPG. I'm just no good at those.

Your reviews are weird lol

I looked hard at the walkthrough and know that I got that combination with the lock pick right! I could never do that in real life either. I still appreciate how the game is a little unique. It's just too frustrating. Most of it makes no sense. How can I get a lighter out while the guard is watching me?!

I'm pretty sure that's suspicious activity. You'd think there'd be more people at a mall. This was just okay. It looks the same as the other "Toon Escape" games. The colors are good.

At first, I thought there were no directions. There were some, but it didn't make the game more enjoyable. It was at least nice to see something different. Of course, the screen was way too small. There's not enough for a full game. There should have been sound!

It was just far too bland. You need to have a lot more going on. I know little about skateboarding. I don't care much about doing tricks. At least this game is harmless.

I admit that I'm not a fan of text games, but this was quite fun. I really did have no idea what was going on. You create such a great atmosphere. It's hard to say anything about the details. It has exactly what it needs. The music is great.

It was easy to get past the first one. I just put down "I Understand". It says so on the medal. It doesn't do that for the second part. For people who are into text games, play this.

Thank you, Ericho!
Yeah, I get that text-based games are not for everybody, but I'm glad that you enjoyed this game regardless :)
I am a huge fan of games with just the right atmosphere, so I try to achieve something to that effect as well. After all, composing music is the main thing I do :)

Yeah, the first part is mostly there in order for the player to get used to the mechanics. After that, the difficulty has an immediate increase :)

Thanks for encouraging others to try out the game :3

Well, this is rather strange. The medals simply aren't working. I'm sure they'll show up eventually. I was confused as to how easy this was. Well, more how short it was. I still found this to be a unique game.

The music is so suiting. I like the graphics, how strange they are. It's nice to have a quaint little game. I had some good mobility. It is nice for something short.

I really don't think the animation holds up. I mean, this goes on too long. I don't think this is really a game. There's more animation than interaction in this. Kermit's voice is pretty spot on. I don't remember seeing the cat.

Well, I didn't go through every choice. This was kind of bland. It was pretty unique back then. I guess this series got better. I thought Kermit was going to win at first.

It seems pretty obvious to make a game where you kill Jar-Jar Binks. This was back when "The Phantom Menace" was still the newest "Star Wars" movie. The animation was pretty good. I just wish it had more. It should have had more locations. I don't see how Jar-Jar keeps dying.

I mean, does he keep coming back to life? I liked that Geedo joke. Well, that was oddly enough, a joke from Jar-Jar. Well, the game itself is funny. I am annoyed when people keep complaining about him, because that becomes annoying in itself.

I found this to be a lot of fun. The seventh level is where I really lose it. It still has very impressive graphics. I love the music! It took me awhile to understand the rocket launcher. It explodes whenever it hits the mouse icon.

It's a very stylistic game. It's nice to see Van Helsing like this. It just has a lot of spirit put into it. I liked how there were different kinds of skeletons. I thought you just had to aim for the unprotected part of those helmeted ones.

I can see why this is the lowest ranked submission on this ludum dare. It's mostly because I don't know how to play it! I've tried pressing all keys and nothing works. There are no instructions in the author comments. From what I've seen on the menu, it looks fine. I just have to go neutral on this.

The sounds I did hear aren't bad. It's just weird how few of the submissions have scores at all. This doesn't have a low score at all, of course. I'm glad that it works for a few people. At least it looks unique.

HawkSandwich responds:

Hey, I appreciate your in depth review :D
First off, there's a "How to Play" menu right in the main menu, but I suppose it didn't stick out enough, as a few people have had trouble with the controls in the past.
As for "ranking", the last Ludum Dare didn't have an official ranking system like all ones previous to it, due to PoV not being able to run Ludum Dare this time around. Instead, we're just using Feedback Friends.
And lastly, thanks for the comment on the art syle :D

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
