I must be doing something wrong, because it isn't working. I looked at the walkthrough. I'm going to the part with the piano. I believe I see the keys as AGFE that I need to press, in that order. It's still not working. I feel bad because it's been so long since I've played the piano.

I've forgotten most of it! I don't even have a piano anymore! At least I knew enough to get one medal. This is mostly as good as your other games. Well, I got something at least.

selfdefiant responds:

There are actually a lot more notes to play. I don't play either, don't feel bad. :)

I liked it, but it did get pretty weird. I didn't understand how I was supposed to collect the coins. I couldn't do anything to get near them. I guess it was just automatic. I still appreciated the goofy characters in this. It was nice to see all these guys together.

I was able to recognize almost all of them. The animation is quite nice. I liked how creative it was. I always lost my arrows at the exact time I was supposed to be getting new ones! The medals didn't seem to show up.

Munguia responds:

Thanks for your review, you need to win the level to unlock medals, and yes you get the coins automatically when they leave the screen, or you can hoover the Green Cursor over them.

Wow, that was a really weird game. I was kind of turned off by how strange the gameplay was. It was difficult to understand. At least I got to the third level. The music's just fine. I guess it probably could have been more detailed.

I didn't really know how to get past everything. A lot of it was mostly a gamble. It's still pretty creative. It just isn't something understandable enough for me. It's a pretty interesting setup.

StuffedWombat responds:

sorry!

I did not have a lot of time to create the tutorials.
should have explained a lot of stuff a lot better.

just a quick summary of the gameplay:
mouse:
your coursor is a physical object that cant go through walls, pressing the left mouse button teleports your little box to the current place of the cursor.

was/arrow keys:
by pressing w you split your character in two independant characters, controlled by wad and arrow keys. when they both stand still in the same place they merge back into one character (controlled by arrow keys).

That's odd. The medal I got for the 200 meters isn't showing up. I doubt you can ever win this game. I had no idea it would be this complicated. I mean, most of these obstacles look completely harmless! It's just a bunch of blocks.

I was still fascinated by the design. I even like the little bird guy here. It was hard to tell what was a hazard. Most of the time, I just stayed on one side. I was probably just lucky those times.

Mantis1 responds:

Newgrounds.io doesn't come with a visual notification when you receive a medal like the old API. But you actually have received that 200 meters medal, I can see it on your userpage.

Yeah, you are playing the game properly by staying on one side, don't worry about that. :)

This game seemed like it had potential. I just found it to be too annoying. I guess it is a pretty interesting concept. I like slowly learning it. It just takes too long for my allies to respond. The sounds the enemies make are pretty nice.

I think the environment is good. It's just too much of a slow moving game. The graphics aren't too bad. It just needs to go faster. It was hard to even understand how my guys were dying.

grmaster responds:

Maybe we'll increase a starting speed in a new build.

Thanks for feedbacks. We welcome your suggestions and ideas.

I feel bad that I couldn't get far in this game. I mean, it was just a phone and nothing else. I think it's only on the front page because it has medals. I couldn't get any of them. I tried dialing 911 and 112. They just show me the other options.

I don't really have a free afternoon. I guess that was the point. It just isn't enjoyable. I guess it was at least something different. I guess this is why the tech is outdated.

axoona responds:

All the medals work, in order to dial any number you need to hear the tone signal first and then dial all the numbres. If you dial for example 4 and then 112 it won't work.

I enjoyed this game. I just don't think it's great. I think it's mostly because it does get overly complicated. It can be hard to avoid hitting the cars. I still like this game because of how good the graphics are. I mean, they really stand out!

Is this CGI? It certainly seems like a cool technique. I was surprised at how big it is. I like how there's always something different on all the levels. It's weird how the easiest medal has more of the points.

FilipeSheepwolf responds:

Thank you for the comment.

I use pre-rendered graphics for the game (I make everything on 3Ds Max, then export everything to long PNG sequences, then I import everything into flash) That's a very short way to describe what I do, because it actually takes a lot of work to make the game look natural (make it look it's actually 3D and the objects are actually there, and have depth and all that stuff--- Inside a game that's actually 2D!)

I'm not sure what medal you're referring to... The medals with most of the points are "Bad Cop" and "The Dragon's Battle"

I hate to say that I couldn't get anywhere with this. I did the exact combination as shown on the walkthrough and it didn't work. Oh well, it's nothing that unique. I know how to use the music. I guess this is different from what you've done before.

You've made so many games it's hard to remember. I managed to get about a minute done of material here. At least I tried. These games were never really for you. I'm sure other people enjoy them.

selfdefiant responds:

Yep, people love them!

I really do feel bad for myself as I'm not interested in the story. It seems too massive for me. I can still give you credit for having a great design. The mood is set up quite well. You should be able to figure it out on your own. I like the music.

Once again, you have a lot of different songs. It is hard to tell all of them apart, though. I like this ongoing story. I'm glad it wasn't an RPG. I'm just no good at those.

JackAstral responds:

Your reviews are weird lol

I admit that I'm not a fan of text games, but this was quite fun. I really did have no idea what was going on. You create such a great atmosphere. It's hard to say anything about the details. It has exactly what it needs. The music is great.

It was easy to get past the first one. I just put down "I Understand". It says so on the medal. It doesn't do that for the second part. For people who are into text games, play this.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you, Ericho!
Yeah, I get that text-based games are not for everybody, but I'm glad that you enjoyed this game regardless :)
I am a huge fan of games with just the right atmosphere, so I try to achieve something to that effect as well. After all, composing music is the main thing I do :)

Yeah, the first part is mostly there in order for the player to get used to the mechanics. After that, the difficulty has an immediate increase :)

Thanks for encouraging others to try out the game :3
