I feel bad for liking everything that has easy medals. I guess it is fun just to get easy stuff. You should have put some music in. These might be the easiest medals I've ever found in any game! Does the game ever end? You can't reach the end of the world.

I know these numbers don't exist. Seriously, check out what those real numbers are! A thousand times a trillion is a quadrillion. The colors are nice and bright. It's just too easy.

Alon-Tzarafi responds:

Yeah I know all of that and the numbering scheme is pretty much made up, because the numbers and scale don't really have too much meaning in this context right?
I just wanted to poke some fun at game developers who make headlines by bragging about their game's enormous size. Especially since... you know, mine is obviously bigger!

I admit that I wasn't really into this game much at first, but I still liked it. It's mostly because it's fairly simple to understand. I like how the villains are so unique. You got a good variety with your enemies. The most annoying ones were probably the ghosts. They just ran at you so much.

The sounds are great too. The graphics are bright and colorful. It doesn't have much in terms of backgrounds. I was surprised at all the medals. You just have to keep beating the game over and over.

krajzega responds:

You're probably right about the medals! I'll see if I can fit a few more that don't require a full playthrough.

EDIT: I did add two medals in a different vein - the 32kb PICO-8 cartridge can't take anymore, though :).

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this more than I thought. It just seemed too small at first. You had too little room. I actually got pretty far with this. The best part was probably how I studied what direction the rabbits took. They don't even seem to go after you. It's more like a single pattern.

The music is also nice. The game itself is quite cute. Even the enemy bunnies don't seem that bad! It just seems like an ambitious game. On top of all that, it's quite unique and uh, Happy Clock Day!

keybol responds:

Cool! The premise is definitely simple until you try it out. Cheers!

At first, I was confused by this game. I thought this was something that was already on the website. It's pretty easy to tell this was a sequel. I wasn't impressed with how it looked the same. On the upside, I did manage to understand this more. The first medal is pretty easy.

You just click the yellow note to get the mission. Click on the board and you'll find the map underneath the other papers. This music is getting kind of old. I guess sharks are pretty cool. This isn't bad.

selfdefiant responds:

It's a sequel it would be a bit odd for it to look different.

I didn't like this. It was mostly because it was just the same image the whole time. I thought Sloth was less skinny. Well, I haven't seen "The Goonies" in awhile. I thought the animation wasn't that good. You only had a few ways to kill him.

They weren't very creative. I was hoping you could use different weapons at once. It amounted to little. The music was alright. You have made much better.

JeremyLokken responds:

Thanks, Ericho. I mainly still have this up because it's one of my first flash projects, 16 years ago! Now I'm dating myself here...I appreciate all of your reviews of my work!

I find this to be a good game. My only problem is that it is pretty difficult. I got used to solving the puzzle after awhile. The music is nicely appropriate. The artwork is great! I especially like that one disembodied arm.

I don't know if you ever use that. You have to work really hard in this. You just never know what will show up next. The ghoul seems pretty harmless. I just like the haunted house setting.

selfdefiant responds:

Thanks!

These pictures are always impressive. I'm getting to the point where I can easily get the first medal. You simply go backwards and click on the bench. The silver key falls out and it's obvious what you do with it. I really was impressed by the music in this one. I'm glad it was automatic.

The fine details are really nice. These games just aren't really for me. I like how bright everything is. It just seems like people make games with darker atmosphere. I mean, this is haunted after all.

selfdefiant responds:

Thanks. It is haunted but not in the sense of scary. Sometimes haunted can be nice. :)

I managed to appreciate this game! I was confused by how hard it was at first. I thought the whole game would just be one level. I am glad there was more to it. The only downsides was how the artwork wasn't that good. That's to be expected in something from 2000.

It's still pretty easy to understand. I was afraid those red squares would kill me. I'm glad it meant the end of the level! I can't seem to go onto the next level. WAS it just one level?

I have to admit that I was turned off by how different this was. I'm not used to straight RPGs from you. I don't want to be biased, however. I think this was an entertaining game in its own right. I don't seem to recall the other games. It is kind of unique.

The music is really nice. It's always great when people have a lot of songs in their submissions. I don't know if there was a hidden astronaut token. I'm not doing well with medals today. Love the atmosphere, though.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks for playing!

I'm not gonna include golden astronaunt tokens anymore, just because I think they were kinda pointless

The stuff I make tells stories, so I only want people who are interested in the stories to be playing my stuff :B

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
