Well, I can't say I didn't enjoy this, because I really did. The biggest factor in this was probably how everything was done in a clear cut manner. I appreciate you giving such easy medals too. The thing is, I just never got into making flash myself. I don't know how to buy it or anything and I'm too busy reviewing to even make stuff. The one time I did submit something without flash it went terribly.

There could have been some more colors and sounds. Of course, a tutorial probably doesn't need those things. It's always nice when users are trying to help other people out. It doesn't seem to be unique. There are a lot of more detailed tutorials out there.

This is just for Beginners :D

I'm not a fan of these kinds of games because there isn't much that happens. It's just you clicking on the same buttons over and over. Well, I guess technically most games are like that. I appreciate you having some pretty good drawings in this. I think I got the best ending because I got to the part where it said "To Be Continued...". In case anyone's wondering, you get there simply by clicking on the top part of everything you come across except where you get the gun to kill yourself.

The music is also pretty atmospheric. It truly is cool watching the medals pop up when you complete something. I assume there's one for every method of ending the game, some how. It just doesn't need to be that talking. It could be more like an interactive movie, I guess. Fans of yours will probably like it.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Well, the point of this IS to read, not just mash everything. Of course you can mash everything, but then why even bother playing this game? And there are 4 "happy" endings, that carry on to the other game. I mean, the concept is real simple, the point isn't "GET TO THE LAST SCREEN". But of course your point stands, not everyone enjoys that.

Yeah, music's awesome - thanks to one of the NG users BlazingDragon.

So yeah, thanks for the review!

I must have been doing something wrong, because nothing worked. I went and followed the instructions and once I put my towers up, nothing happened. They didn't fire at the enemy or anything. I tried clicking on them and nothing happened again. I guess I have to give you credit for having some pretty cool music and sound effects. The enemies themselves are fairly unique.

I just wish I knew how to play this game! At least other people seem to have a lot more fun with this. I just wish the instructions would tell you a lot more. Everything's done in a fairly organized matter. It's a bit out of the ordinary for its kind.

crionuke responds:

It's simple, you should build your towers in one line with enemies, and towers will shoot to it.

I found this to be a fairly enjoyable game. What I liked most about it was probably how good the graphics are. It just seemed to be this really interesting world that you created. As expected, you have to be really careful with not hitting the sides of the spikes and stuff. You usually have to slowly go down (or up) each level in order to properly advance. It's probably the best game I've played all day.

I like how you have this really macabre music. It seems like it's been awhile since I played a game featured for StencylJam. It's probably a bit too long, but it is fairly satisfying in the end. It's interesting to have all this hopping and stuff going around. I appreciate the good thoughts.

knarrenheinz responds:

"it is fairly satisfying in the end". Wow, you actually did play through the whole game? Did you also find out how to play with the secret girl character? In case you didn't, PM me :) Thanks for the kind words.

Wow, I have reviewed so many songs, I remember some of these. I recall something else like this being made, but this is still great to listen to. There have been so many songs here it's great to see a cavalcade of them all. I thought Tom Fulp worked on it, but he was just the inspiration. It may only have twenty songs so far, but it'll get a lot bigger! I'm just reminded of the same things when I reviewed those songs.

The medals are very easy to get, in case anyone's wondering. Arinnnn's face looks disturbing. Most of these songs are fun to listen to and have a lot going on. It was nice to include links to all the other stuff so NG fans will truly enjoy it. You probably could have used more pictures, like one for every song.

deathink responds:

There are a couple reason why there are less pictures, and why there isn't a new one for every song, most importantly is loading speed, while it loads very fast for most of us with good internet connections, I didn't want to punish people for having slow internet connections, so after the player gets going it should usually load the song and picture at separate times so you don't have to wait longer for each to load up at the same time. Anyway I am glad you like it. P.S. you are a reviewing machine ;D

Thi was a fairly fun game, but some parts confused me. The sound didn't work when I was playing the levels. I don't know how this happened, as it was working just fine with the cutscenes. Anyway, it's great that you combine zombies with ninjas. There should be more games like that. The most frustrating thing was probably when you weren't supposed to cut the bread and you had to just let it come to you by hovering under it.

I really like the graphics in this, particularly with how the ninja throws his sword around. It's disappointing I wasn't able to get a medal with a game that has so many. The sounds (what few there were) were decent. It's a playable game and should be good for ninja fans. It's pretty clear cut in terms of understanding.

RybramDotCom responds:

Thanks bro. I'll look into the sound issue. Not sure what could be happening there. If you happen to find out what triggers it from not playing shoot me a message. Might help me track down the issue. Getting the bread is supposed to be frustrating :P.

I thought this was a fairly good game. What I really like about it is how you have a good sense of being able to do things quickly. I'm not that good at math, but I was able to get a gold medal the first time I played fairly easily. It kind of makes you realize how many times you use math in everyday life? While not as big as letters, they are important. The graphics could have been a bit better.

I still think it worked pretty well for what its purpose was. It's so great that you have several questions to answer and you only have to answer one to move on. It's a fairly unique way with how it gets harder. I appreciate all the hard work put into this, even if it wasn't that complicated. Math fans should love this.

Zoglu responds:

Hi, thanks for your review !
Like you, I think that being able to choose your answers is really important, so you're not stuck with an hard operation and you can adjust the difficulty level during gameplay. I had this idea while playing "Active Quiz for Math".
I wanted this game to be playable by children too, so that's why is quite easy to get a gold medal. Adults and math nerds can try getting the "Omega" and "Infinite" medals !

I think this is a pretty fun game. I am SOOO glad you have the ability to move around. Judging from the first level, I thought you had to ricochet everything into the pipe. This is a fairly weird game. There's one part where you fire into a chimney that isn't even attacked to anything, so why do it? Of course, I've never let surrealism stop me from liking a game before.

While it may not be Christmastime, it can still be a playable game. I really appreciated how the music was really suiting. It's a very unpredictable game, especially given how there are things like hazards that come after you. It may get frustrating, but you can always try again. It's just a pretty homey game. Maybe not that well detailed, but still enjoyable.

xmorpher responds:

Thanks for your review! i'm glad you enjoyed it :)

I guess I can appreicate how this was a simple game, but it just didn't do much for me. The worst part was how poorly the graphics were done. I was thinking that I could lose the bigger fish but I think he just hung on to me for the rest of the game until I died after he saw me. Anyway, I can kind of tell this was made quickly. You could have been more creative with the text, too. The net wasn't much of an enemy.

You need to work a lot more with shades. Everything just seems a solid color and the lines aren't done well. Congradulations on managing to have a game that has medals, I suppose. You just need much more detail. There's just so little here that's unique.

bcdefg123 responds:

This was made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare, a challenge one has to undertake by themselves. As someone who's really not an artist, that was my last priority. But thanks for the advice, I probably could experiment with shading next time.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
