Okay, I don't want to just complain about how hard it is to get a single medal, but that is annoying. What makes things worse is that I don't even know how to advance when the part of the level is up. I can't make the jump that goes all the way to the next level or whatever it is. I still have to give you credit for having pretty cool graphics. You guys should realize you can only jump across a spike pit once. It may look like you can make it, but you can't.

I had no idea this character was even a girl! Then again, when the pixellation is that low, it can be hard to tell. I appreciate the decent music. I can see how this would be appealing to bigger fans of yours. Oh, and happy ludumdare24!

If you mean how you can't reach the little island with the house after clearing the first dungeon, note that there is a pushable block nearby you can use.

This is a very interesting puzzle game. It's amazing how cocky you can get and not advance to the next level. While there wasn't a lot of detail, it made up for that in terms of how cool and complicated it was. It's great to have so much mobility and be able to jump across from the walls and everything. It also helps that the music is nice and fun to listen to. I had no idea there were going to be zombies in this.

Zombies of course make everything better. I like how you got a good picture of everything on the level. It gives you a lot of room to make way for ideas. It probably could be a bit more detailed, but still very nice. I never knew co-operation in a game like this could be so complicated. I guess you could beat it with two players.

ThomSip responds:

thanks for the review, and yes the game is a lot easier when playing with 2 players

This stuff is nicotine, dude! I have been playing this freaking game for hours and it's amazing how I can never get tired of it! I think the best part is probably how the monsters are so wonderfully designed. It's great to see all this crazy stuff going on. It broke my heart on that one level with the black dragon, I managed to beat every enemy and even had the dragon down to a fourth of his health and I still lost! I have no clue why this isn't the #1 spot on the all time best.

The music is fantastic, completely flawless. I love how there's such a great attitude of adventure and everyone looks like they're having fun. Well, the characters in the game I mean. I'm certainly having as much fun as them. Most of the time I get medals without even knowing what I'm supposed to be doing. It all adds up to a fantastic, flawless game, friend!

Thank you for your encouraging comment :)
Hopefully this game not doing you any harm like nicotine :D

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much of a show seeing as how everything looked so simplistic. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this really was cool! You'd think at least one of those medals would be easy to get on my first run. It was really interesting how there were so many things going on and you had to be so precise with everything. Zombies are for any time of the year, I guess. I actually thought this was kind of cute.

I like the notion of you having a girlfriend whom you always stick by no matter what. A cage is going to work just as well as anything else, I suppose. I guess there could have been some more detail, but it's still very nicely done. The music is pretty cute and gives a nice homey feel to the game. We'll do anything for our girlfriends.

Well, the "These Heads" medal is pretty easy to unlock. Happy you enjoyed the game!

For the most part, it was just a weird game. It seems weird to make a game like this when it's the middle of Spring. Then again, maybe you come from some part of the world where it's snowy at this time of year? I was disappointed to find out that you had no real means of defense here. It was still fun, because the graphics were great. Everything was nicely detailed, even if it looked silly.

I think it would have been better if you could have richoted the snowballs onto your opponents. It just seemed weird that the scores would be so high. The #10 spot has a score of over a million while the #11 spot has 100,000. Error, perhaps? It also helps that the music is nice and it helps you along the way.

ItsTheAshtray responds:

Thanks, nice review. Yeah it is weird releasing this so late. In my defense, I finished it in early February and had some issues finding a sponsor. Turns out I had a lot of design flaws (the high score mode was almost non-existent at that point!). But Tom here was awesome enough to give me some tips and go for a sponsorship. Three cheers for Tom!

Wow, I really like this game because of the awesome atmosphere. You really get the notion that you're in a truly, strange, dark world. I love how the animation makes it look like it takes place in some olden time with how it looks to be created from an old film. It's kind of annoying how there's only one medal which happens to be a secret one. Still, this is about having fun with the game of course. While not a fan of point 'n click adventure games, this is still quite appealing.

It mostly works because the music is so good contributing to the atmosphere. This makes you appreciate the uniqueness of this world. The colors are very nicely done in this too. All of the little objects are so nicely organized. It's the kind of game you can spend a lot of time on and have fun.

Thanks for taking the time for the thoughtful feedback. Stay cool man.

This game isn't that good or bad. For the most part, I would probably say it's a good game. The parts where it loses points are how it really doesn't have good graphics. Still, at least the gameplay is decent. You kind of have to click over the animal twice if you want to get it in the thing's grip. I was thinking you did kill those animals when you brought them to your ship, but I didn't get the medal.

The music is fairly decent and gives off a good tone of mysteriousness. Why do aliens like cows so much anyway? Well, milk is so delicious, they probably want to steal our goods that way. It reminded me of the graphics by Armegalo, like his older stuff. Happy animal hunting with your probes!

simplegoogly responds:

Thanks for the review. Bringing the animals to ship doesn't kill them. ;)

This was a really strange game, and it was hard to enjoy. I didn't even understand what was the point of being able to go from one player to another. There seemed to be certain occasions where I wasn't able to advance at all. It's weird, because I went to this place where there's an enemy and I die immediately no matter who I play as. Some glitch in the system? I mean, I will give this game credit for having some cool ideas.

The sprites and images are actually pretty well drawn. It's just hard to get control over these characters. Half the time the jumps are too complicated and you just keep flying around everywhere. At least the music is decent. So, at its best, this game is okay. It just doesn't seem to make much sense to me.

Kwing responds:

Funny, I thought I cleared up the tutorial a lot. You should have really experimented with the characters' abilities, which played a major role.

This reminded me of Minesweeper. And, like Minesweeper, I am fairly bad at it. I guess it's just that it's hard to like a game that depends so much on luck. I imagine someone good at Minesweeper does the same thing, but it's even harder to beat. At least this gave me a much better understanding of that game. The music was alright, it didn't really seem that fitting.

There wasn't that much detail, but there certainly didn't need to be. It is pretty satisfying when you finally manage to beat the level. It looks like you guys are putting a lot of medals on your old games. I don't think I've ever gotten on one of the rope ends of a bomb before. Bigger fans of Minesweeper would like this more.

simplegoogly responds:

I agree. Thanks for the review :)
