This is one of the most awesome games I've ever played here! I think the main reason why it's so great is because there's just so much going on. There's no such thing as a dull moment in this insane world. I have played some "Centipede" games before, but this is easily the best. Heck, it's probably even the best of its kind ever made, including the arcade ones. The colors and effects are freaking fantastic!

The most annoying thing is the red spider that randomly shows up. I've shot that thing like twenty times and nothing ever happens to him. I don't even think that thing CAN be killed. It's weird how the centipedes put these little things everywhere and I'm not even sure what they are. I think they're either eggs or machines or something. Thank you for this fantastic game!

Vibe13 responds:

you can't kill the laser-creeps (the spider things): I thought about making them killable, but in the end I decided it made a better balanced game like this 'cuz even when you've got loads of firepower you still gotta be careful.

those weird things the centipedes leave behind are bio-titanium fungizoids....just for the record.

Well, I can see why this doesn't have ratings that are that high. The graphics in this were freaking gorgeous! I think the main reason some people didn't like it is that it's kind of too big. It just seems like you go around and do nothing before the main action begins. I will say that it's satisfying when the ships get blown up and fall down to the buildings. The sounds are decent too.

I think the game itself seems to lag a bit. It's still fun the whole way through. My mom came in and saw me playing this and said it was one of the more cooler games she saw me play here. Everything is done in a pretty clear manner too. It must have taken forever to make this thing!

Thanks for the feedback :)

I guess the main reason I didn't like this that much was because it was so freaking hard! I still have to give you credit for having a very original idea. Perspective flips are always cool. The best part about this was probably how you had such good mobility. Dang, I didn't know us humans could multiply so fast. The graphics weren't bad, but they came off as a bit too silly.

Of course, that may have been the point. It was pretty funny to see everyone walking around when they all looked like pancakes. The music was pretty decent. Dang, does this game get hard fast! For those of you who have faster reflexes, you might wanna check this out!

Zanzlanz responds:

Haha it was my first 'shooting' game so I wasn't sure exactly how to make the difficulty.
I didn't want to make the game play too long and boring, so I made it quick and challenging. I see all of these fps games where everyone dies so quickly, haha!

Yeah the graphics weren't meant to be serious. I designed them initially to be a completely different game, based off of complete randomness. That sure changed xD But you're probably right. After the change in design should have came a change in graphics.

Thanks for your review :)

I was pretty freaking amazed at how cool this game was! I was quite disappointed when I couldn't get a higher score every time I started a new game. This is still great even though the graphics aren't that good. You certainly know how to motivate a person to complete something. The sounds were really good too. I loved how there were all sorts of different enemies to shoot at.

It was a fairly original game overall. It sounded like balloons popping whenever you hit your target. There's a nice variety of colors being used too. Oh, I thought the medals were for every new level you got to. You have to watch these rascally aircrafts!

VictorGrunn responds:

Wow, thanks. I'm glad you liked the game. Yeah, this was the first time I ever attempted to do any art for a game - I need to get much better there.

Feedback appreciated, I'll use this to make better stuff!

Well, I can't say I didn't enjoy this, because I really did. The biggest factor in this was probably how everything was done in a clear cut manner. I appreciate you giving such easy medals too. The thing is, I just never got into making flash myself. I don't know how to buy it or anything and I'm too busy reviewing to even make stuff. The one time I did submit something without flash it went terribly.

There could have been some more colors and sounds. Of course, a tutorial probably doesn't need those things. It's always nice when users are trying to help other people out. It doesn't seem to be unique. There are a lot of more detailed tutorials out there.

TheeCoffee responds:

This is just for Beginners :D

I'm not a fan of these kinds of games because there isn't much that happens. It's just you clicking on the same buttons over and over. Well, I guess technically most games are like that. I appreciate you having some pretty good drawings in this. I think I got the best ending because I got to the part where it said "To Be Continued...". In case anyone's wondering, you get there simply by clicking on the top part of everything you come across except where you get the gun to kill yourself.

The music is also pretty atmospheric. It truly is cool watching the medals pop up when you complete something. I assume there's one for every method of ending the game, some how. It just doesn't need to be that talking. It could be more like an interactive movie, I guess. Fans of yours will probably like it.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Well, the point of this IS to read, not just mash everything. Of course you can mash everything, but then why even bother playing this game? And there are 4 "happy" endings, that carry on to the other game. I mean, the concept is real simple, the point isn't "GET TO THE LAST SCREEN". But of course your point stands, not everyone enjoys that.

Yeah, music's awesome - thanks to one of the NG users BlazingDragon.

So yeah, thanks for the review!

I must have been doing something wrong, because nothing worked. I went and followed the instructions and once I put my towers up, nothing happened. They didn't fire at the enemy or anything. I tried clicking on them and nothing happened again. I guess I have to give you credit for having some pretty cool music and sound effects. The enemies themselves are fairly unique.

I just wish I knew how to play this game! At least other people seem to have a lot more fun with this. I just wish the instructions would tell you a lot more. Everything's done in a fairly organized matter. It's a bit out of the ordinary for its kind.

crionuke responds:

It's simple, you should build your towers in one line with enemies, and towers will shoot to it.

I found this to be a fairly enjoyable game. What I liked most about it was probably how good the graphics are. It just seemed to be this really interesting world that you created. As expected, you have to be really careful with not hitting the sides of the spikes and stuff. You usually have to slowly go down (or up) each level in order to properly advance. It's probably the best game I've played all day.

I like how you have this really macabre music. It seems like it's been awhile since I played a game featured for StencylJam. It's probably a bit too long, but it is fairly satisfying in the end. It's interesting to have all this hopping and stuff going around. I appreciate the good thoughts.

knarrenheinz responds:

"it is fairly satisfying in the end". Wow, you actually did play through the whole game? Did you also find out how to play with the secret girl character? In case you didn't, PM me :) Thanks for the kind words.

Wow, I have reviewed so many songs, I remember some of these. I recall something else like this being made, but this is still great to listen to. There have been so many songs here it's great to see a cavalcade of them all. I thought Tom Fulp worked on it, but he was just the inspiration. It may only have twenty songs so far, but it'll get a lot bigger! I'm just reminded of the same things when I reviewed those songs.

The medals are very easy to get, in case anyone's wondering. Arinnnn's face looks disturbing. Most of these songs are fun to listen to and have a lot going on. It was nice to include links to all the other stuff so NG fans will truly enjoy it. You probably could have used more pictures, like one for every song.

deathink responds:

There are a couple reason why there are less pictures, and why there isn't a new one for every song, most importantly is loading speed, while it loads very fast for most of us with good internet connections, I didn't want to punish people for having slow internet connections, so after the player gets going it should usually load the song and picture at separate times so you don't have to wait longer for each to load up at the same time. Anyway I am glad you like it. P.S. you are a reviewing machine ;D

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
