Derpixon funded this? Anyway, this was pretty amazing. While I wouldn't call it the day for Pixel Day, it's still wonderful. It summarizes the story quite well. It's great because it does ask us a what a what if scenario. What if "Avatar: The Last Airbender" came out in the 90s?

The colors were gorgeous. So funny to see Sokka in the desert. You put everything together so well. It's great to see a lot of people credited for something with no voice actors. I don't think it's quite 64 bits. Happy Pixel Day indeed!

I have to admit that I was expecting a story. Instead, it was just not much happening at all. A thing did show up. I'm sorry to give this such a low rating. Well okay, it's not that low. The music could have been better.

That is a big part of this. I appreciate how it does have good animation. It just doesn't amount to much. There was some kind of monster at least. It might not have quite worked as an art submission. Good thing it wasn't too long.

Roskiart responds:

You know? That's fair. It was effectively a short teaser either way, but still.

Well, this is the lowest rated submission for Pixel Day 2025 Movies and it's not very hard to see why. I mean, the animation is very nice. I was waiting for something to happen, but it never did. At least it looked great. I'm glad there was some sense of a battle about to happen. I love those huge claws.

They showed real tension. This may have been an art submission. Anyway, it was still okay for what it was. Just show things happening. It didn't need to be that long either.

I love this animation style. Now there's a movie section for Pixel Day! What's going on here?! This is probably our biggest one ever. I love how it's showing something as mundane as going on a skateboard. There actually is a nice relationship between these characters.

I love the environment. They look like they're flying over a river. A star must make that easy. I just saw a Kirby cartoon. It reminded me of that.

Oh boy, this is awesome! I was truly amazed at how beautiful this looked! It really is quite faithful to "Super Smash Bros."! You know, with the toys at the end. Well, this was a lot more Kirby than SSB. Then again it is a tag.

It's one of the best Kirby cartoons I've ever seen! Everything just flows together perfectly. I'm so glad we get nothing but action in this! Well, that's not hard in a short cartoon but this is still absolutely amazing. I always want to be familiar with artists that are unknown to me. May Kirby live on forever!

At first, I was wondering if this was an entire episode re-animated. I'm kind of glad that it wasn't. The opening was amazing! It's like thrice as long as many openings. It's great to see all these styles. 24 artists for a minute and a half are quite impressive.

I appreciate so much variety. I don't know that much about FLCL. I recognize the main character at least. I know something about something in a kid's head with stuff coming out. This was just awesome.

SpiggyG responds:

This is the intro for a full reanimate that’s coming out later this year!! We wanted to have a bunch of people on to represent all the different visual styles. FLCL is a show that strangely: does not have an intro! The reanimate will! FLCL Reanimated is 100% complete. This was just the sampler plate…..

Ooh, nice use of hands at 0:31. It was so cool to see the inside of the car. You really did create a personality for this character. I appreciate all the hard work put into this live-action series. I think his mouth is the only animated part. I hope it doesn't get deleted like "Numa Numa Dance".

Yeah, those were the days. I still don't know what this guy is supposed to be. He's kind of like a canary with no beak. He also looks like a giant kernel of corn. I guess he's just this tiny yellow man.

Wow, that was wacky! She kind of looks like Toot from "Drawn Together". I love this animation style. It really does come off as realistic. I thought this had already been submitted before. Instead, it's just another segment.

It's still a very clever setup. I now notice her green eyes. It's great to see something so real. She really does try to defend herself. The callers aren't really that vulgar.

Wait, how'd he destroy him? Why was Cyclops so mad? I just heard my brother saying he was like his favorite superhero. Anyway, this was still quite good. I especially loved how well animated. It was exactly like "X-Men: The Animated Series".

I was going to say "X-Men 97" at first. I then realized that show has essentially the same animation. I don't see many X-Men parodies without Wolverine. Thanks for focusing on Professor X. It's still pretty well set up.

RetroSleep responds:

Just trying to play on the personality tropes of the characters from The Animated Series. Scott constantly over-reacts and jumps to conclusions. While Xavier would never get fooled or tricked. Well, usually...

Glad you liked it anyways.

Wow, this was just awesome! It certainly brings back memories. You managed to do so much in such a short time. Yeah, it might have been too short. It was still freaking awesome. My favorite part might have been the first one.

It was just a great introduction. You'd think a re-animated intro would be one for a minute long. Well, "Dexter's Laboratory" episodes themselves were short. I guess this did work well. The credits just had the same music.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
