Okay, that was pretty good. I guess I was expecting an intro to have more action. I just realized that 4.20 is the score where I have to review everything. That equals 420! I never noticed that! Anyway, this was enjoyable.

I see you've already made some entries. It would be interesting to see these characters develop. There's always potential. The colors are nice. You could probably use some shading, though.

Yeah, it was pretty interesting to see this. It just isn't one of the best ever made. My favorite part was probably how goofy he was. He just ate chalk! That really did give him personality. Well, especially with him drawing on his own face.

It's very easy to recognize your art style. I still think it should have had a background. I just expect something more in most flashes. This will undoubtedly get a high score. The title almost looked like "GRIMACE".

better grime anim soon !

Well, this is it. The longest submission that isn't a compilation or a re-animated collab. This is even longer than "Klay World: Off The Table" which was itself advertised as Newgrounds' first feature-length film. This might be the only review where I've had to say "Spoilers"! I admit there were problems, like how the music could have been better. It got really surreal, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I think the best thing was how these characters grew on me. They probably had more character development than any characters in a Newgrounds cartoon. I KNEW he was going to destroy the painting at the end. I guess Alan's plan was to have Commercial Break destroy Ouroboros. They got the bag full of money at the end, so it wasn't completely pointless. I mean, that did have money in it, right?

My favorite part might have been the song at the end, too. Alan has probably more voice actors than anyone ever listed on this website. This isn't really an NG submission at all, it's a full-blown movie. You have shown us how you can submit an actual movie here. I wish we would have seen the Centurions arrest them. Obviously, everyone worked extremely hard and while it might not be one of my favorite submissions, it was certainly worth it.

MrPurpleMrPurple responds:

Thank you for the criticism and commentary. Although, in reference to the bag of money: what use is a bag of money when they're stranded in the middle of a desert lol!

I'm very happy that you enjoyed the film!

Okay, that was pretty cool, if entirely absurd. Oh "Malo"! I thought it said "Mario". It also looks like "Mario Kart". I still recognize the music. I appreciate all the fine details put into everything. The animation was nice.

It did seem kind of pointless. I should be familiar with Zelda enough. I learn more about it a lot here. It was fun to see everyone together. The colors were very good too.

I didn't know Shaggy had a nephew. Then again, nothing in this really made any sense. Shaggy's voice was what really cracked me up. This did indeed have some great action. It seems like the only Scooby-related product people talk about now is "Velma". That's certainly not good.

Shaggy looks like he turned into Brock. It was cool to see Scooby's flashbacks. I don't know what Shrek has to do with anything. This was still absolutely awesome. At 2:42, it looked like a cross.

I'll try to see what it says at 1:04. It's, "QUICKLY ROSE TO", "VIOLENCE IS A", "CANNOT FIND" and "KNOWN PEACE" among other things. I wasn't able to comprehend what he was saying. I'm sure it was comprehensible. The bunny angel was my favorite character. Everyone was really fun here.

My favorite was probably the ninja one. I've seen enough "Naruto" to understand ninjutsu. I'm starting to understand these characters more. They're basically webcomics put together. I think they literally are.

Yes, that was a stupid quick animation. Whoops, got that backwards. I thought it would be a parody of "Inside Out". That's a trope. It's called Ghost In The Machine. Will everyone please shut up about those movies are a ripoff of "Herman's Head"?

It's a TROPE. It's used here to show how stupid a guy is by having his brain being depicted in a microwave. It's a very common idea that everyone has already used. I just love how goofy this design is. His hair style almost makes him look like Goku.

Framed51 responds:

That’s actually pretty interesting! I didn’t know that trope was called “ghost in the machine”. I’ve also never heard of Herman’s Head, I’ma look into that show!

Dude, that was one of the best cartoons I've ever seen! It didn't even have 4 in at that much. Let me guess, the next installment will be 5? This was just fantastically animated and completely unpredictable. It's amazing you can have merch with just letters and digits! Not much for dialogue, though.

I really did feel for these characters more. You'd think a 1 would be more like a snake. Snakes covered in barbs are awesome too! It was nothing but incredible action scene after incredible action scene. It's just so creativity with a concept that should be simple. Please put this on "Sesame Street" to teach kids about words and numbers!

I thought the animation was pretty good. I guess it was a pretty good painting. I admit that I didn't see the point of this that much. It probably should have been longer. I'm probably a hypocrite for saying this anyway. I could never draw this well.

I like the omission of the black outlines. It suits the theme quite well. It still just wasn't special out of the thousands of things I've reviewed. It should be relatable to artists. It's just not my thing.

panpikidaan responds:

This might help us in the future. My crew and I made this in a week and had a short deadline, so we couldn't expand it much. Thanks for your honesty

I admit I couldn't understand this. I remember Ibuki from the "Nuts Vs. Guts" videos. She was the one stealing panties. Yeah, it's weird I know her from that. The audio was great though. This had good animation too.

I'm sorry, but it was too short. I wanted to see some actual fighting. I couldn't tell if she was speaking English. It was like, "You are cool!". That's a nice compliment.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
