I can block

This was a fairly mediocre game mostly because it seems like there was not much good or bad about it. If the medals had points, then yeah, I would be more motivated to play it. I will, however, say that this game is fairly harmless. I guess it is kind of neat to see old people doing well, nothing and be able to get points with that. The main fault is that you are not allowed to be in a wide open area. Every level and wave seems the same.

It is kind of entertaining to see those killers accidentally stab themselves like that. There just needs to be more variety with how they move and attack. I would have also preferred it if you were allowed to actually attack. Still, this does fit the theme of the NG Game Jam well. That blue icon with the handicap sign is pretty cute too.

Not too bad

I thought some of this was good, but other parts were not that impressive. The best part is that the graphics are actually pretty well done and there is a good atmosphere created. The hardest thing was that it was difficult to identify who was to be suspicious or not. There is a walkthrough but that would take all the fun away. Unless of course this game had medals, then I would be okay with it. The sounds you had were good and authentic.

All I know is that on the first level there's this one guy on the far part who is running. I shot him and didn't die until later when something exploded (?) so I guess you're supposed to do that. It comes from the right hand corner so look for whoever's coming there. I shot one guy and no one in the game even noticed anything! Talk about your uncaring citizens.

What a cave!

This was quite a unique game and I think that's the best thing that came out of this NG Jam. I was just looking at Master-Samus' profile the other day. This would have to be my favorite of all the games made for this holiday. What's really cool is that it's a unique game and you have to control as many blocks as you want. It can be confusing, like I was pressing it down at first and nothing happened. You have to be patient, as it can take awhile. I still don't really see what most of these games have to do with being handicapped.

The graphics are good in this, especially the wizard. It's not often that you also play a game where your intended rescue has already been killed. At least you can go save yourself while you still can. I thought the bar at the top meant how much time you had to adjust the rocks. It actually also measures how much time you have before the dragon breathes fire and if you're moving across, you're still dead.

Quite complicated

I liked this game even though I was barely able to get into it at all. It is actually one of the most complicated puzzle games I think I have ever looked at. I thought at first it would be more like one of those where you have to arrange the pieces with one blank space. There was no blank space but you had to really work with this. One of the strongest things about this was how good the music was. It made you realize that this was intended to be a deep game.

While it is just a game as you mention yourself, it makes you think about the world around you. Everything here is completely normal, yet still very enjoyable. People who are really good at puzzle games should check this out. Other people should check it out just to get a deep message from it. I like how it's all done with real photographs.

Nice rhyme

It is fairly interesting when you play a character who takes up most of the screen. The best thing about this was probably how simple it was. I just loved smashing those morons and eating them over and over. It's hard to tell which gives you more points. I suppose it doesn't really matter and I do not even know how I even lost or gave up. The weirdest thing was that I got a 5 point medal (it's apparently not the same as the secret medal) and then I got a 0 point medal.

This is the first game I have ever played that had both 0 and 5+ medals. The graphics are fairly good. I especially like how the monster turns into this floating thing at the end when it shows you what options you have left. I guess a score of 7 was good enough to get at least one medal. It just got repetitive with how it was the same thing over and over.

thinking-man responds:

Yeah, that medal was made first, then it was approved, but none of the others were... It will be fixed soon.

Too many words!

It was nice of you to be able to move past the words without reading them. The thing I did not like about this was how there were just too many words! It seems like this game was a lot more cutscene than it was actually gameplay! Now, it does have its good points, like how its easy to get the medals. In fact, I think that you get a medal for any ending you get. In terms of how you get them, just play the game until you win or lose.

The next time you play, just do not do what you did last time to get the ending. What is good are the graphics. The detail in this is wonderfully done and I really liked the shading that was done in everything. There could have been some more sound as it didn't seem to create much of an atmosphere. Well, I guess I can't expect the best game to be made in 72 hours.

tenentenen responds:

Too many words? This is an interactive visual choose your own adventure novel. It is PURELY words. But I agree with you that it has very nice art. PooPoothegorilla did a very good job, and spent a long time on it.

Don't call them cripples

This was fairly enjoyable and the only thing I really did not like was how this game was so hard! The funniest thing is that it is rather humorous to see those old people get killed. Hey, it's a lot better than the Segway game where you deliberatedly beat up old people. I love how silly they look as they fly through the air. Strategy is everything in this game and it's also great how so many people contributed to this. The sounds are great, especially the bouncing ones.

It's the best game in the series I've played so far, even if it is only my second one. I like how the music is so cheery. Hey, I have played a ton of games that had a far darker theme. It's interesting how JAZZA, the artist, received top billing for this. I was a bit confused as to how I launched it, but I just had to press the "Go" button.

Ahh...

Well, I had no idea that this website was working on a fourth NG Game Jam. I can tell this was not made in the longest time, but it's not terrible at least. It was interesting to see those different designs for the companion cubes and stuff. It's too bad every single medal is secret because you are discouraged to tell where they are in your comments. Granted, I have no idea how to get any of the medals anyway. At least the game is somewhat simple to understand.

I really have no idea how to win this game. I am doing exactly what the instructions tell me to do as I go down to the fish and keep pressing the mouse button. When the amount of tension I have is full, nothing happens. The fish or cube just go away. The designs are at least good and I can tell Lilg worked on this.

A bit entertaining

I liked this game if only because the graphics were so good! It is CGI graphics like this that show you how far we have come in terms of Flash Player. I am not even sure if those are even made with Flash Player. The gameplay was fairly simple, but the thing I did not like was how there was no music. I can always just listen to music on another page which I am actually doing right now. I know it was not intended, but it was pretty funny to see my character just move along.

I liked how you could move the crates even when they were already in a green area. That allows other crates to be moved nearby. There could also be a background instead of the blue color (well, the coloring there is still nice). It doesn't take a complicated game to play it enjoyable. Of course, it gets more complicated as it goes on.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
