I'm so proud of myself for continuing to play until I got a medal! I was amazed at how hard this was. It just seemed like this would be some really silly game. Well, I guess it still technically was. It's just that I didn't know it would be that hard! The sound effects were nice and cartoonish.

The music was great too. You'd be surprised at how stressful this can be. Luckily, the cute demeanor really does help. Everything looks so bright and colorful. The fact that it made me work so hard is probably why I like it so much.

CTincknell responds:

Hey thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the challenge.

I did not care much for this game. It just didn't have much style to it. It seemed like it was just the same thing over and over. The graphics looked fairly shoddy. I was confused as to how I even got a high score. It still isn't terrible.

I like the environment. Penguins are always nice. The music isn't bad. I did have some fun working on the best strategy. I bet you are glad the score is so high, but I just don't care for it.

Thanks for your response. Ever since I uploaded this version onto newgrounds, I have been working on a much better version of the game for mobile. Hopefully when I get it out you will check it out and maybe I can change your mind! :D

Wow, this game drove me absolutely insane. I had no idea how to even get the easy medals. I admit that it is completely unexpected. I was wondering why the medals looked so weird. I didn't even notice they were boxes at first. Wasn't this joke already used in SpongeBob Squarepants?

It was still pretty funny. The redundancy drove me bonkers. I guess the sounds and music weren't bad. I hope to never look at this ever again. If you want to torture yourself, play this!

The game was meant to be hard, this is Major League Boxing!! if you cant take the madness then you're not MLB material! now take your 2 bit critiquing and go back to reviewing Sonic vs Mario sprite videos *kisses*

I admit that there was more to this game than meets the eye. At first, it seemed too easy. I really did understand how it got harder and harder as it went on. I appreciated something so challenging like that. The layout was quite nice. It didn't need to be more elaborate or anything.

The music was really good. I liked how this was in such high spirits. I was surprised how downward I went after the first level. At least I got some medal. Overall, it was quite enjoyable.

Thanks for your feedback!

I thought this game was just okay. It was probably the most mediocre game for Stencyl Jam 2015. Most people seem to agree with me. Congrats on being the most viewed of its kind! The graphics weren't that good. I guess it had to have pixels, given the title.

There should have been music. I thought it might have been a defense game at first. I guess you have to just let it rest with this. It does play itself after awhile. I guess it was kind of educational.

plopix responds:

Hello Ericho, thank you for your review and honesty.
That game was made without any pretention, this was my first game, and I made a lot of mistakes, and it clearly appears that I am not an artist.
The game is between idle and strategy, indeed, this was the concept at first, to make a kind of realTime idle ressource game, but I think I will turn it more into an active defense game for an eventual sequel.

I could not get into this game at all. I could not even understand the physics. I can certainly understand why this is the lowest rated game for Stencyl Jam. I couldn't tell if the line went opposite of what I was supposed to do or not. Apart from that, the design was too simple. It was very generic stuff.

I didn't even think the sounds were right. There should have been much more detail. I know someone like Cyberdevil can do better. You're one of the most prolific reviewers out there! Then again, most people hate my personal stuff even more.

kasehaussoftware responds:

Cyberdevil was kind enough to assist us in improving this project. We're still very new at this whole process and are striving for continuous improvement in our projects. CD brings a high level of experience and community with him which I believe can benefit us greatly. We are very thankful for his help and would welcome any others who would be willing to work with us to improve our games.

I appreciate how this is an original game. I admit that I was quite annoyed by how hard it was. You lost all of your bells when you got damage. It was weird how you couldn't help more of them afterwards. I guess that just wasn't shown. The fire's nice at least.

Well, not nice for me. I can tell you're the same guy who did those painting games. This isn't as good. I was expecting a Saved By The Bell parody. Well, I guess it is just a phrase used by a lot of people. It's at least playable.

Munguia responds:

Thanks for review Ericho, like every game things can be easy for some players but others not, this game can be won on 3 minutes.
Of course Famous Paintings are better, i spend 7 years paint em and goes on, this game is an small pum, just a quicky shot.

This is a great game! I was truly fascinated by how different it was! It didn't seem that great at first, but it got so much better. I just love all the little sound effects. I didn't know how that counting system worked at first. I did manage to get used to it.

I really liked the powerup (I only saw one). A pity it doesn't last longer. It was a game that was quite far to the player. I thought maybe you weren't suppose to touch the line. It's just a very smooth going game.

ImpendingRiot responds:

Thanks :) It was certainly a fun learning experience for me. What's funny is I made this before the tablet/touch screen craze. Maybe I was ahead of the curve? ;)

Well, I managed to get one medal. I really have no idea at all how to beat this game. I do have to praise it for being creative. I don't even know if I can win it. I'm thinking it might be some unwinnable joke game. It was actually was pretty scary.

You did get used to dying. I'm really going to have to work hard if I want to advance. I just don't like it enough to really care about doing that. Well, it accomplished its purpose. It's fricking hard.

Vilehead responds:

PM me with your location and I'll give ya a hint. If you wish of course :)
Kudos!

This was a rather strange game, but I did enjoy it. I was surprised at how hard it was. It was really unlike any defense game I had played before! The music is nice and futuristic sounding. The enemies were pretty well designed too. I only wish there was more way to understand what was going on.

There just seemed to be too many rooms to go to. I guess that was still the original part. I still get into how difficult it was. Those guys had pretty long health bars. Wait, isn't that a kind of food?

rottenmage responds:

Thanks for the feedback, Ericho! I don't know what kind of food green balls of slime are, but I don't think I want to find out XD

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
