Happy birthday to me again! Sometimes, simplicity really does work out! It was great to have an easy game. Well, not one that you can easily win. I mean, it definitely takes awhile. My toast usually moves better than that.

I don't think I have a toaster anyway. This reminds me of a fake game I heard called "Wii Breakfast". I make breakfast every day! I rarely use toast, though. I could appreciate how original it was.

Ant responds:

Yeah it was just a random idea my friend had (MrRope) during school. So I made it into a game with uraomote, I'm glad you enjoyed!

Well, this was certainly playable, but I had problems with jumping fast. It seems like I couldn't really go anywhere with this. I couldn't jump that far without dying. I'll always appreciate the graphics. They're quite well detailed for a game like this. You don't see a lot of games with squirrels.

No, no problems with any bugs. It's just hard on the first level with jumping under the purple blocks. Those spikes always get me. I get a medal for dying! Weird how that's a secret medal.

Spebby responds:

It probably shouldn't be a secret medal lol. Only set it like that to not encourage people to die, but tbh it's probably best to have it not hidden.

I admit to not being used to Pico Day games like this. Well, he's done practically everything here. I'm glad to be a part of it! I never thought about how often Pico gets high. Well, it's better than shooting people! I'm just not into RPGs.

It is still nice to see these characters. The artwork is quite good too. I'm glad you can have unique stuff with all these cartoons. The music seemed too loud. Well, with FNF, that could be the point.

toffeescoffees responds:

thank you so much for playing! :)

The tankman's name is Captain John? I guess that does make sense. I mean, they would have names. I think I got him, but none of my recent medals have been showing up at all. This was a cute little game. I'm not much for dressup games.

No, not even the ones with nudity. I'm not THAT much of a pervert. The drawings were pretty crude. Well, you still had to work hard for the medals. Wario-Master-Of-Disguise-For-Nintendo_DS is sure long for a tag.

Count-Cannoli responds:

It's the best tag ever made, ever, you're welcome for it!

HOW DID THIS NOT WIN AN AWARD?! This Is Seriously One Of The Best Games Ever Made! I just play it all day, especially considering how it just goes on and on! There were so many great weapons to choose from! The enemies were so unique as well! This is without a doubt the greatest submission for Pico Day 2021!

Thank God (or I guess you) for having random weapons fall from the sky at the boss fights! I would have been useless without that. It's probably the best Newgrounds mashup I've ever seen period. Pico really does fit well into "Madness Combat". You have great mobility, just everything that should be in any game ever! Authentic music, I could just gush about this all day!

Stepford responds:

I'm glad you had so much fun! It didn't win an award, but that's because there was a lot of other great submissions on Pico Day as well! <3

Yeah, this definitely needs work. There was no sound. At least put in some music. I wish you could get those thoughts to show up. I just typed "Why are we here?" and "Eat da poo poo". You didn't even need to type them to advance.

Well, someone has to be last at Ludum Dare. Wow, 48 installments? This needed backgrounds. The character design was crude as well. Not crude as in vulgar.

Krac3r responds:

This is my first time doing Ludum Dare, and I was just trying to get this out. I'll try to make the next one better and may make a post jam version.

Wow, that was one weird game. I had no idea you could get medals for those things. I mean, you had to shit everywhere eventually? I didn't know I'd had to get an option for taking my pants off. That seems like a given. Well, at least it was kind of different.

It's one of the most mundane games I've played in a long time. It's still pretty creative. The graphics are nice. It reminds me of poxpower. You're still good in your own right.

Frenchie14 responds:

Thanks for the review!

You know, it's been awhile since I've played an Assassin game here. We just sort of outgrew them. Well, killing isn't that childish. A lot of people hate Lola. I never really thought of her as being sexy. I mean, look at Rouge the Bat!

Then again, there's even more fetishes from My Little You-Know-What. Hey, Dickneck! Long time, no see. Forkheads sounds like 4Kids. We wanna kill them too!

Yomuchan responds:

Childish it may have been, but I truly had fun making this.

LOL SOMEONE RECOGNIZED DICKNECK HELL YES

This would be a good game if I was any good at it! It seems to take too long to fire another shot. I wish there were upgrades or something. I haven't gotten far enough in the levels. Yeah, there probably are, but I'd have to work really hard. If only we had "Candy Crush" games here.

The graphics are still incredible! I know blob enemies like that. At least some of them remain stationary in this game. Again, at first it said I needed a new technology. The longness of the game can get annoying too (as in its size and format).

Stepford responds:

There are upgrades! The enemies drop them and you press E to pick them up. You should have a few before your verse the first boss.

This was good, but not great. I guess it's mostly because it got monotonous. Still, it can be challenging. The buildup is rather nice. Again, it's not another FNF submission. Well, it is in the Flash Forward Jam.

Everything's still a jam! I'm glad it wasn't too long. Well, not long enough to make it hard to get medals. That's enough for me. For an action game, it seems oddly down to earth to me.

speed8327 responds:

thanks for the awesome feedback and that's really helpful for "Ruffle:Another Mission" part 2.
And all the awesome features mentioned from the feedback will be included in part 2.
