It's pretty rare you win an Underdog of the Week and any of the Daily place things. I was quite impressed to find out the sheer amount of interviews this had. I would like to say that I would have preferred audio. Of course, that probably would have been too difficult. I really like the music too. It gives off a very good sense of being laid back.

It makes you have a more personal connection with who is being interviewed. You can just imagine them sitting there by a fireplace. Yeah, fireplace. I know there's another part of the website that probably has these, but it's much easier to look at this in a more organized manner. It's great to be part of this community!

deathink responds:

This is probably the greatest internet community there ever has been... or will ever be.

Okay, I've reached a point where I simply can not advance. It's the fifth level. I go to this one part where I go down and automatically die. I know there's some hearts down there, but they don't help me at all. Anyway, this is still a very nicely done game. The best thing about it is probably the graphics.

It's nice how it has a very pleasant atmosphere to it. I appreciate how you can customize it. I am glad you don't have to go along the dotted lines exactly. Heck, you can draw something new entirely! It's fun to see a furry do this too.

davidmaletz responds:

Yeah, the dotted lines are only there on the early levels to give you an idea of what to do, the game doesn't show them at all after the fifth level, and on the fifth level, it doesn't show ALL of the shapes you need to make to win. On the fifth level, you need to descend slowly - you can do this by drawing a shape underneath you, and then clicking the shape you are on to remove it, and repeat this until you get close enough that hitting the ground wont kill you (but of course there are many other ways to do it!) The hearts are there to replenish your health after you've drawn shapes to make it down, they won't save you from death.

Glad you liked the game, and when in doubt, try experimenting with what you can do with the shapes! The signs and dotted lines will give you hints, but often you have to figure out tricks yourself!

I couldn't understand most of this, until I read the directions. It was weird because you kind of told us how to get the secret medals. Granted, they were all that way, but it was still kind of strange. It wasn't too easy of course, with a lot of hidden stuff. I didn't know MikeyS9607 was part of the Soup Squad. I think this may be the first submission from you guys that I've reviewed.

You would be surprised at how many of these organizations there are. The music was fine. I felt I at least learned some more about the users on this website. The medals will hopefully give it more views. I never played the first one.

SoupSquad responds:

First one has medals, too.

And no, I'm not surprised. There have been a lot of organizations. Most of them are dead. So far, it's only three crowns: Clocks, Locks, and Soups.

I think this was a pretty nice game. The only things that I did not understand about it was how you could pick up your powerups. I was not able to pick up a single one. I guess there must have been something that I was missing or couldn't grasp. I still managed to defeat the final boss and win the final medal. It's fairly creative for what it is.

I think the music is quite stylized and creates a good atmosphere. It's a pretty goofy one at that. The graphics could have probably been a bit better. I appreciate the original concept. It's more fun than it looks.

yukonmakesgames responds:

Thank you for the review! I'll tell Maxero you like his music :P
P.S. - When standing/sitting/whatever balls do in front of an item, press down to pick it up!

I admit that I didn't really like this game much. It just didn't come off as too rewarding as it was quite difficult. I don't mean to complain, that's just how I looked at it. I will say that the graphics are decent. This is in fact a pretty creative game. It's just that it takes too long for you to get a powerup.

The music was fairly decent and made a good beat. It helps that the game is fairly easy to understand. I wish I could say the same for the actual gameplay. I like how you do have a nice amount of space to move around. If you're good at these kinds of games, check this out!

DereliktGames responds:

Thanks, man! Honestly, power-up used to be closer to each other when I first started making the game, like every 2 enemy spawns, I found myself waiting for the next enemy to appear often, I thought it could be boring. So, by making power-ups take a bit longer to appear, there'll be (hopefully) none.
I really appreciate your detailed review, it was of much help.

I was interested in how hard this was. I thought it was unbeatable, but I at least managed to get one medal, showing it could be beaten. You have to have certain colors overlap with each other. It's not just that, you need to have the color patches themselves overlap in just the right place. Who knew something with colors could be so complicated? I appreicate you making something different.

If only more people would warn me of how hard a game was. I'm an experienced gamer, dang it! I think the graphics are really well designed. It's fun to just see those letters fly around each time you win a level. It's hard, but fun.

josh-tamugaia responds:

Thanks

I personally did not care that much for this. I guess it's mostly because I'm not that good at it. It doesn't work out when a game doesn't come off as particularly rewarding. There were definitley some shiny things going on, but not that much original material. The graphics could have been a bit better. I was able to complete the tutorial, but didn't get a medal.

The sounds are decent. It really is a puzzling game that's a challenge. If you are patient, you should be able to get pretty far. I just don't think it adds up to that much. The graphics aren't terrible, just need improvement.

Pinchanzee responds:

Sounds like it's just not your type of game, which is fair enough - although constructive criticism would've been nicer. Thanks for your time anyway :)

It's game like this that make you so glad you have creativity in yourself. You could basically just do anything you wanted. This reminds me of another game I played that was a lot more recent. I didn't like how the future game wasn't realistic. It was interesting to get a good experience like this. Most people know what it's like to carve pumpkins.

I myself have gone pretty good in that category. Of course, if you look at some of the images floating around on the Internet of carved pumpkins, it's not much. This is really a very accurate depiction. A pity this game became less popular as time went on. The sounds are nice too.

rotpad responds:

thanks, i appreciate it

Wow, I thought this was actually going to be some space game at first. I guess I should have looked at the title better. I was kind of weirded out at how strange everything in this turned out to be. It's funny because I heard that new "Die Hard" movie was terrible at least in comparison to the other installments. It was weird how it looked like you turned into a spaceship when you jumped.

I mean, I have to give it credit for being unique. I certainly had no idea what was going on. I wasn't even sure if I was pressing the jump button right because I kept dying for strange reasons. I wish it snowed here in Florida. It's just kind of too weird to really enjoy.

DBuck-Eye responds:

Maybe my next game will be a space game so that Floridians can enjoy it with the rest of us! Thanks for the idea!

This was a very strange game for me to play. I can't complain that it was too hard, because it really wasn't. I was not able to find anywhere where the instructions were. Even on the menu, there wasn't anything. I still have to appreciate all the hard work put into this, especially when it has so many talented NGers working on it. I managed to at least get one medal.

I was in fact a fan of the other games in this series. I just wish that the instructions were easier to see. On the plus side, it was nice to be able to die so quickly. I just jumped off of everything. The opening cutscene is a bit too long too.

Afro-Ninja responds:

The controls for this game are the same as the other games- when you start a match the popup dialogs should let you know how to move your character. when you open the weapons menu each time it will tell you how to use each weapon. Also the opening cutscene has a skip button. Thanks for giving it a shot though!

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
