It's pretty hard to rate something when you have no clue how to succeed in it. I am familiar with the story of the scorpion and turtle. Then again, I didn't read that hard, so maybe I'm thinking of something else. I thought the music was quite nice. It does in fact have a pretty clear format. I just couldn't get far in it.

You do not get a medal from not skipping. Maybe you do and it's just not working at the moment. I like how slice of life this is. I'm not just into these kinds of games. I guess that's kind of too bad, seeing the sheer number of reviews I've done.

Tumetsu responds:

To succeed in the game you have to read at least some of the text since it gives hints etc. Only thing you have to do is to get the turtle out while avoiding to get stung.
Game doesn't really have relation to the story. Actually I heard about it only afterwards :)
No you don't get medal from not skipping.

I admit that this game wasn't quite as good as I thought it would be. It just has a very cool layout. I think I'm going to the next stage at least when I'm at the end of the screen and start something new. I did like how fast paced it was. These are what a lot of classic arcade games were like. The enemies don't seem that alien to me.

They seem more robotic. I think the graphics are done pretty well. You really have to learn how to duck. It's nice to have some pretty good variety in how the enemies look. All in all, definitley a good game.

SinclairStrange responds:

I made it pretty quick, the main bulk was done in five days while I spent an extra day making an extra level when I waiting for Halloween to die down. Given more time and more resources I would of made it more rich with enemy designs and weapon pick ups.

Thanks for the review, it's just a little hard to make "alien" sprites with such a limited palette and size annoyingly :P

Just in time for Halloween! I was truly impressed by this, seeing as how everyone's done with real photographs. If not, then they're pretty dang realistic! I just appreciated how quiet everything was. It really set up the atmosphere. Most people should be able to do this, but I'll mention it anyway.

The master key found in the glove compartment opens the door. The scariest part was probably when the dead body was shown. Yeah, our protagonist definitley saw that. I had a great Halloween this year and I hope you did too! The dripping sounds are great too.

Asvegren responds:

thanks for the kudos, and yes, i had a good halloween!

WOAH, you took the prehistoric ages and made something truly awesome out of it! I was going to think that this wouldn't be as exciting, because there were no modern day things to destroy, but boy was I wrong! Everything was wonderfully action packed! I loved all the enemies and graphics. I'm not going to make another stupid Flintstones creationism joke like everyone else has. Everything was perfect!

I'm going to say it probably wasn't the best in the series, but still awesome. I got to play this when it was deleted a few days ago. Don't know why. I do know that this is another fantastic game in this awesome series that deserves recognition! Glad I'm here for it!

Wiesi responds:

Thank you for reviewing! :)

I didn't understand this game at all. It took over a dozen punches just to kill one goblin. That made no sense to me. There must be something I am missing here. It can't be that difficult. I guess the graphics are...farily mediocre.

There must be weapons that I'm missing. I'm sorry, I didn't see how this was that popular at all. I guess there's nothing offensive about it, it just doesn't add up. The setting isn't too bad. Sorry, dude.

Thanks for writing a review, Ericho. I was 16 when I made this game and I used a mouse to draw, haha. You can actually get a weapon right at the beginning when talking to a guy (choose club).

I hate to say it, but I think this had a lot of problems. Well, it did get better when I was more used to it. I have no idea how to get ahead in terms of the tutorial. I'm pressing A and D for everything and nothing works. Good thing I can just pause it. The artwork in this is actually really good.

I'm starting to recognize Evil-Dog's style. Strange, I would think Halloween would be a good time for a monster to be out. I really like the long claw design. It's something I've always been fascinated by. It's still playable.

Evil-Dog responds:

tutorial? press D when it says press D, press A when it says A, etc? not sure what you mean, PM me if you wanna discuss further

Well, the game was itself very well done. Its main flaw was that it was pretty much impossible to beat. I find it kind of stupid to be killed by just falling too low. I don't want realism in video games! I do, however, love the overall format. It's just as good as the previous games.

It's not as good though, because it's so hard. It's interesting to see all the little obstacles you have everywhere. It took real creativity to make this. Too bad I don't know how to use my jumps on the second level. Help?

3kliksphilip responds:

You can slide down walls by holding down the arrow button pointing towards them- try a running jump at the far right wall, and thanks for the feedback!

Apart from the fact that the game isn't that well detailed, it's impossible to win. When the monkey head throws that cracked rock at you, you can't dodge it! I've tried, it's a homing rock. I wish I could beat this. Thank you for the medal of looking (or not) at the instructions. I liked "National Treasure".

Of course, the sequel wasn't that good to me. I did like how it was at least an original idea. Nicholas Cage is pretty easy to make fun of. I think the music also works well. It really isn't my kind of game.

swishcheese responds:

Try shooting the cracked rocks when they appear. Thanks for review.

I was truly impressed by this. I think my biggest like was how every level had something different to it. You were always able to make something new and creative. Most of the time, I was able to figure out how to beat it. I'm not that much for puzzle games, but this was a nice exception. The music was nice and steady.

It's amazing how complicated of a world you can make with a fairly low amount of detail. I think I have played stuff like this before. I hope you are motivated to make more games. You are truly unique with your work. While not a classic, still great.

Sandamnit responds:

Wow. This made my day!

Thank you for the vote of confidence on future games. I do have a few ideas floating around, but nothing concrete yet.

Well, I thought this was going to be really great. It wasn't as good as I thought because of how difficult it was. I guess all games in this genre are going to be compared to Angry Birds. BTW, that was actually a ripoff of a game here, Defend the Dungeon or something. I really liked the graphics. I'm so glad you made something new.

You are such a talented guy you should submit stuff here more. I like how you just explode your enemies. I don't know how to work well when you're in the air. That is really the hardest part here. It's definitley original.

Dizimz responds:

That's a kind review that I appreciate the goal really was a angry birds meets meatboy kinda game.
I enjoyed making it, Im glad you enjoyed it. Truth be told, I must have accidentally released this early but apparently I published this last night OOPS!

Ah well it's out now and Im trying to put out the fires as they are so to speak.

Thanks again!
