Happy Thanksgiving! It's nice to be so easy to understand. Then again, that made it kind of boring. This animation wasn't too good either. Still, it was just okay I guess. It reminded me of the animation of "Pico's School".

That's not a compliment. At least it wasn't the same phrase over and over. There was a little variety. I like how there's some Thanksgiving stuff here. You seem to rarely get those here.

CalamityGanon responds:

I can see how it made it a bit boring. I had wanted to add more animations, but due to time constraints more refined animations and some voicelines are missing. I hope to fix those in a later update. I might keep the animations the same though as I like the way it is since it feels like the old Newgrounds style. (Like you said, Pico's School.) Thanks!

This was a very fascinating game! The best part was probably how much of a cool world you created. You really knew how to put everything together so well! I didn't even notice my little dinosaur companion. Yeah, I'm not going to make the umpteenth Flintstones joke. It was indeed primal.

I was stuck with jumping up through a bridge or something. It was fun to just destroy things. There were so many things to collect. I liked how you could really explore. There always seemed to be more options. This was quite well detailed for a sprite game.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Thanks so much for the kind words and I'm really glad you enjoyed the demo of Primal Planet :)

Did you ever get past the place you got stuck? Perhaps I can help out, or maybe improve the game.

Anyway, thanks again and it's so nice that you appreciate the details about the game. I'll do my best to make the full game even better!

What a quaint little game this is. I do get stuck at a certain point. You can't always climb where you think you can climb. The artwork is so nice. You've created a nice little world to live in. It's like a drawing come to life.

I got as far as the first record. You'd be surprised how much time flies. It's especially when you're working on a big project. I still can't find use for that pyramid. Uh, Happy Veteran's Day if that means anything here.

Mateusz-Skutnik responds:

Yes I agree. This is really old platforming engine created in flash. I'll take good care of this game when remastering it for entire daymare series in one game (actually working on that remaster right now. Link in the game).

Well, this was a good game, but it was really difficult. I had no idea I would be losing my blood automatically. I thought that would only happen when I hit stuff! I was thinking there would be a medal for beating a level! Okay enough whining, this is a pretty cool game. You just have to be reeeeally fast.

There's definitely action to spare. You have to make that action happen. The worst part was not knowing which path I should take. Luckily, I didn't have to destroy every enemy. I never seemed to run out of those blue potions.

decafpanda responds:

Thanks for playing. The blue potions are your ultimate attack count. Using your ultimate attack is extremely important to wreck the battlefield and gain blood.

I'm sorry, but I didn't care much for this. The graphics weren't very impressive. They just needed to be more detailed. I guess I should have stayed indoors. The author's comments were too lengthy. It just didn't come off as rewarding.

I still appreciate how it was kind of unique. I seem to say "unique" a lot in these reviews, huh? It was at least appropriate for Halloween. I couldn't be motivated to get very far. The rating's still pretty high.

Chris responds:

Thats fair.

The reason the graphics are as simple as they are is because the game is intended to look and play like a ZX Spectrum game. Which was an early home computer that allowed a very small palette of 15 colours and out of that palette only 2 colour could be displayed within an 8x8px block (this includes the background colour).

This further ties into the story that accompanies the game in the Author’s Comments. The story is a meta history of the game which pretends that it is a real game from the 1980s. I felt it added extra depth to the game and was a novel way to offer hints on the game. I completely appreciate that this may not be to everyone’s tastes though.

I have to admit that I was quite impressed by this. The number of drawings was huge. I liked how you could make a sparkling effect. I still don't follow any of you people. I don't know why this appeared under latest from the people I followed. I don't follow any of you!

I thought this would be like a remake of the original pokemon games. It was still wonderful. I'm going to have to play some of those myself someday. The colors were so nice. It's amazing how much of a positive influence pokemon has been on us.

EmsDeLaRoZ responds:

Maybe why this appeared in your feed without following any of us could be because you can see the latest uploads of users followed by your friends (that's an option you can change in the feed settings)

WVDB responds:

The Omnissiah is literally telling you to see the Pokémon Variance Collab.

I thought it said "Twigi's Twisted Christmas" at first. I'm glad it was a Halloween cartoon. It was also a Dress-Up Game. I haven't played one of those in a long time. They're usually pornographic. This was pretty cute.

It was just costumes more. I don't know who this character is. Well, it's obviously Twigi, but I know nothing about her. It's a her, right? The drawings are indeed rather nice.

Nebulate responds:

Lol we arrent in x-mas season yet (even tho the stores says so). And yeah, we wanted this game to stand out from other dressup games out there and sutch with the voicelines and sutch.

As for Twigi the character: Twigi is a they/them just so you know that (i dont blame you for interpreting differently). And they are a kid that likes to dress up and sutch (they also like burgers alot).

aapiarts responds:

Twigi is a 12 year old child who likes to dress up in different outfits. Their species are genderless and that's how far we thought of the lore.

Okay, this was just not enjoyable for me. I went down and nothing happened. The spacebar didn't work. I swear I was right on top of the prey! Nothing seemed to work here! It was not rewarding at all!

It was just too simplistic. I can still appreciate how it was kind of unique. That doesn't always mean good. I just wish you could get closer to your prey. Tiny creatures is a pretty nice theme.

SpookDev responds:

Hello! Thanks for the feedback! Turns out, for whatever reason, the script responsible for the player decided to revert to a previous state, making the game unplayable. I'll release a patch in a couple of days to fix the issue and add some medals to make it more fun!

That was a pretty interesting game. I will admit that it got a bit too complicated. I was surprised as to how well it was set up. The graphics were designed very simplistically. I wouldn't expect a game like this to be this complicated. The sounds were fairly good.

I was interested as to how their powers would come into play. This maybe could have used some music. It was still good for a 48 hour dare. The graphics probably didn't need to be more complicated. They weren't really critters, just weird looking things.

F1Krazy responds:

I wanted to add music but honestly just ran out of time and energy to compose anything. If I expand this into a full game (which I'm considering) then music will be on the list. Thanks for the feedback!

Yikes! I have to give this 3 stars because I know little about this! I was tempted to go online to look for answers, but I knew that would be cheating. I mean, it's not a big deal, but I still wouldn't do it. I'm surprised how little I know about specific countries. I was hoping for a United States version. It was always hard.

I thought I'd know something about Canada. They border my country! I knew I wouldn't do better with other countries. This was better for someone who lives in those countries. I thought I knew most trivia related things!

applessmillion responds:

Planning on some familiar countries for later this year :)

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
